Csi Ny 11/3

Is *anyone* still watching this?
I noticed two days have gone by and no thread about this week's show.

So I did check it out and was once again disappointed.
We had here what had the potential to be two good story lines, but they somehow managed to turn them both into dry toast.

I can't exactly put my finger on the specific reason why, but the damn show is just not entertaining. I guess it's a variety of problems.

The cast is DULL. I can't get into any of the characters. Don't care about em', am not interested in them.

They seem too cookie cutter of the characters on the other CSI series.
Miami already has a big, curly haired female character, and she is much more interesting then her NY counterpart.

Gary Sinise is bland. If it is up to his character to carry the main interest in this show, then he fails.

There is still no real NY feel to the show. It can be done. L&O and NYPD Blue have a NY feel, but nothing from CSI.

As I stated early on, this was a show I really anticipated and wanted (and expected) to like, but I'm having a tough time even staying awake, let alone enjoying it.

Dull and bland are the perfect words to describe this show. I thought the first few episodes were promising but it's gone downhill from there.

They need to bring in a new writing staff quickly.

I am watching and agree that this show is simply not very good. It's still pulling in solid numbers week after week though. I think around 18M.

I can't even make myself watch it in HDTV, and I'm pretty much a HDTV whore (meaning, if it's in HD, I'll watch it). Once 10 p.m. rolls around on Wednesday night, I start surfing and while this show plays in the background, I haven't had one episode that really piqued my interest enough to get back on the couch and watch it all the way through.

Same....I have never watched another CSI show but this one. Maybe that is because I like Jag.

It's not the best show of the season but I still enjoy it. Would have started a thread earlier but I was out of town and just watched it. Could be better but it could certainly be worse.

I think New York is lot better than Miami, but not as good as Vegas.

I hope this is the right date's thread for the episode I *acquired* and am watching now
the water tunnel one
two glaring things so far. guessing at the weight to subtract for the gurney, and "check out her throat, oh good, luckily that gold fleck didn't get lost while she was being moved so I could show it to you"

edit: now they say the gold came from the river
hello, they said she was drunk. it's more likely to have come form drinking goldschlager (spelling?)
