Wife swapping leads to a murder. Grissom, Sara and Greg have some fun discovering all sorts of the sex toys and paraphenalia. Didn't envy the DNA gal's job in this episode. Sara wasn't all that keen on the wife-swapping lifestyle, Grissom didn't seem to mind it. It was funny how he kept flipping through the porn mags (certainly for investigative purposes, of course). It was nice to see Dina Meyer in glorious HDTV.
Warrick and Nick have to deal an self-promoting biological cleaner guy while investigating a murder by table saw, and come across another murder victim at the same location.
Catherine is a mess emotionally, but is still looking for promotion opportunities, and after badgering Grissom for her recommendation, Grissom allays her anxiety, tells her he gave her a great recommendation, and hopes she gets the job, though she needs to get her home life together and not bring it to the job.

Good episode.
This was the first time in awhile that both cases kept my attention.
So is each cast member going to rotate a week off now with Greg working cases now? Last week it was Warrick, this week Catherine only made a brief appearance.

Good stuff.
Is what's her face leaving the show? I stopped watching in the middle of season 1 due to scheduling conflicts. She was annoying then and from the last 3 episodes I've seen...she's still annoying.
I'm talking about the former stripper/crappy mom.

Agreed, thought it was one of the better episodes they've had in a while. Didn't suspect the daughter for a second. After not being able to finish watching CSI:NY last night, it's always nice to see the original is still king.
It seems ever so rare lately for CSI to have two cases as well done as tonight's two. Hopefully a sign of what the rest of the season has in store.
And while I haven't read anything about Helgenberger, I can almost guarantee she isn't leaving the cast. The only one that's expressed interest in leaving that I know of is Peterson, mainly due to the spin-offs diluting the franchise in his opinion. If Helgenberger left, considering her salary and the spot-light this show gives her... Well, it just ain't gonna happen.

Both were good stories.
Can I get in one the next party?

I had the teen daughter pegged for this right away. No surprise there at all.
Can't imagine going over a 'decomp' body wearing only a dust mask!? No respirator?

Gee, I wonder why a show like CSI (which is always heavy on the "gore") is running a Viewer's Advisory?
Of course...it's about sex! Show all the blood and guts you want, but show a vibrator and you better watch out for the FCC!
That being said, this was their BEST show of the season, so far. Although I think next week's might be even better (the blue paint killer returns!).

PROMO SPOILERS:
If you're going to discuss official information about an upcoming episode (ie. stuff shown in the "next week on..." segment, or print/broadcast advertisement/teasers) please make sure that you either use spoiler tags or start a thread with some kind of warning in the thread title
Or, as BizRodian suggested elsewhere, you could start a thread about "next weeks show (spoilers)" and discuss the teaser in there. But the threads discussing the current show need to spoiler the teaser information.
It's fine to discuss this stuff, but let's give everyone the choice to decide whether they want to see it or not.

I had the same thought.
I was actually surprised at first - I figured they ran the warning because of the table-saw killing. Then, of course, the dildos and vibrators in the dishwasher and the 28 condoms, and I say a-ha, that's why. Stupid, fucking, hypocritical FCC.
Good episode. Man - I love Dina Meyer. I keep praying that Dick Wolf considers her to replace Rohmbot on Law & Order.

I wonder what it was exactly that got the show the mature warning before the start. Since they have dealt with weirder sexual stuff (furries), I bet it was the dildo in the dishwasher.
