Anybody pick up Born of the 4th of July SE or Eyes W/O a Face CC
I'd like to know if either are worth picking up. Is the SE of BOT4OJ worth the upgrade?

I picked up BOT4OJ and skimmed thru it. I just have a 32" and I could see a world of difference in the transfers, as I'd rented the previous version earlier this yr. No shimmering or other digital giveaways, it looked very film-like to me, but that's about all the detail I can give. I did notice a print defect which popped up for a split-second during the beach sequence, not sure if that was present in the other versions...
It has the commentary (which is excellent) and a featurette from the film's release with interviews from the primary players (Kovic, Cruise, Stone) that runs for 21 min. Can't remember if that was part of the other set, but it was decent. That's it - no trailers (or forced trailers) or insert. $13 for a good transfer of a 2 1/2 hr film and several xtras is worth it imo. Recommended.
