Sony Wega red lines during dark scenes

I have a Sony 27" Wega. It has these red lines across the whole picture during dark scenes of a dvd or tv show there about 1/2 inch apart from each other. . They only show during dark scenes. Does anyone know what could be making these appear?

Thanks for any help.

I don't know what's causing them but it seems you're not the only person to have that problem.

I haven't seen that problem with mine.

I haven't seen that problem with mine either. If it's under warranty contact Sony.

You have to be fast with that whole 90-day warranty Sony gives you.

The Sony warranty has run out. But I just called the store and its still under warranty there. Good thing I got a free upgrade in the warranty at the store it seems.

Thanks for your replys.
