the only way to see La Dolce Vita . . .
Very odd occurance this morning in my office:
My boss comes in, asks if I've seen the restored La Dolce Vita at the Music Box. When I say no, she throws $8.75 on my desk; then she tells me to leave work early and catch the 4:45 show.
Nice job perk . . . too bad I'm going to waste the money on crack.

My former boss actually liked decent movies. Then we both got laid off...
Man, I haven't seen La Dolce Vita in a theater in 18+ years. I remember the first time I saw it, and the next day I was walking down the street and the full impact of the film just came to me, and I had to sit on the sidewalk for about 5 minutes before I could go on. A very powerful movie, IMO.
