Halford sings with Sabbath!
At the Camden, NJ show Ozzy was forced to sit out due to bronchitis, so the mighty Metal God filled in! How 'kin cool is that? There's an item at the official Ozzfest site.

This isn't the first time that Halford sang lead for Black Sabbath. Rob filled in for Ronnie James Dio for two shows in the early 90's.

I was at the show last night, it was amazing! A real treat for true metal/Sabbath fans. Some high schoolers/mall metal types were upset, but I'm sure a trip to Hot Topic will make them feel all better.

I heard a bootleg of some of the songs he sang with Sabbath that time in the early 90's, to hear him sing Dio's "Heaven and Hell" was awesome! It's my favorite Sabbath song.

Oh man that must've been incredible.
Halford is second only Ronnie Dio as far as rock voices go.
