Problem when I "x" out after posting...

This has happened 3 times in the last few days: after I post to a thread, I'll close out the window to move on with my life, while it says "thanks for posting..." and is taking me back to see my post.

Each time I do it, all of a sudden, I get 40-50 windows immediately grouped together. If I close one, another opens. Can't do anything at all - even shut my computer down.

Now obviously this may be my problem alone, but it doesn't happen on any other sites so I thought I'd see if you've heard of it before.

So if your screen name is "Toad", would those extra windows be called "flies?"

Nothing - they're blank and the Windows logo is moving as if its loading some content.
