After a disasterous 2nd round, I'm looking forward to the Round 3 contestants, and hope we get at least 4 worthy finalists from this round (a shame only 2 will go on to the finals for sure).

I remember Amy Adams being one of the ones who I thought, and still think, should have never made it past the first auditions.

Amy's got some pipes on her. She's one of my early favorites.

I predict Elizabeth will win it all !

Eric Yoder was solid - but Amy Adams just blew me away...very impressive performance!

That first girl... meh. She kept pronouncing "dance" weirdly.

And John Peter Lewis sounds like shit tonight! Looks like an Amish farmer too.

I think Yoder is getting a raw deal on the Clay comparison saying it's "Aiken without a personality".
Yoder has a great voice, but what did Clay show us in weeks 1/2 other than the voice. Simon made fun of his look back then.

This week is much better so far than last week by far!!!

Thought the girl that just did Whitney was overrated by the judges.
I think the judges (especially Simon) has his mind made up before the performance on what he is going to say about each contestant based on auditions/past experience/rehersals/etc

Absolutely! This is another example of the judges trying to push through the BEST LOOKING person through to the next round rather than the MOST TALENTED. Leah was the poorest performance of the night, with the possible exception of Jonah.

Maybe it's just me but thought the last girl is very overrated too.
Just because you SCREAM louder, people cheer louder and made Paula and Randy give a standing ovation?!

Wow, i'm unimpressed with this group too. This season sucks.

Just watching the recaps for voting, I would choose Eric and Amy as my top two.

Almost all were better than last weeks.

Latoya was good...but Amy was still my favorite tonight. Remember the judges aren't necessarily hearing the same thing we're hearing at home...

I liked Amy the most, followed by Latoya and then Eric. The good thing about last week sucking is it means nobody from that round will go through in the wild card round... which means Katie Webber from week 1 and maybe more than 2 people from this week could make it to the final 12

My top three in order would be Latoya, Amy, and Eric. I didn't think Leah was good at all, and I agree that the judges already had their minds made up, and were just trying to push her through based on looks or some potential talent I didn't see.

I liked amy a lot.

and agree about the screaming, I always think its masking an inability to sing. although she could sing.

I couldn't agree with with the judges, Latoya was SUPERB! Her performance absolutely gave me goosebumps. Can't believe I'm the only one here so far who feels this way. I echo Paula.....unbelievable.

Amy has a bubbly personality and a pretty good voice. That pink hair is kind of a turn on in a weird Cindy Lauper sort of way

Anybody else notice "Rueben" from Hawaii didn't actually sing???

He was sort of mouthing his words that perfomance was awful
