AICN is the least deserving, most overhyped film site on the net. I hate to threadcrap but the sooner that site crashes and burns, the better.

The funny thing I always notice whenever somebody mentions AICN is that everyone's always quick to slam it. Which just goes to show that everyone knows about it, and goes there. Even if they don't admit it. And I bet that's Harry Knowles' plan anyway. You may not like the site, but the fact remains that you know about it. I personally visit it every now and then. Flame wars here are NOTHING compared to the fervor that the fanboys slug it out over there. If you're ever bored, read any talkback session and time'll fly by.

I think it will be hilarious when Harry releases his movie and it sucks. Considering he has spent years and years telling people what is cool and uncool in movies, it will be funny that he falls right in line with all the directors that he says sucks.

There are much better movie news sites out there.. so no "Mr. Jedi", we aren't badmouthing it and still going there in secrecy. The site design is horrifying and painful to the eyes, it's members are horrifying and painful to the intellect.

Do a search on some of the Harry-Film threat articles. Those are priceless for really running down Harry. I'm not sure if Chris Gore himself wrote them, and they are onesided as all get out, so take it with a grain of salt, but it paints a REALLY negative picture of Harry blurring lines as far as a legitmate review site and making it pretty clear that a good review was for sale. Which it usually is when these guys are doing the junket scene, but it's incredibly transparent with regard to Knowles.
The less I knew about the site, the more I liked it. But seeing some of his notoriously good reviews of crappy movies(an example that springs to mind is his crying during Armageddon after getting a so-so junket trip and then he was later trashing it when he saw everyone else's backlash).
I'd be a hyopcrite if I said I didn't check it once a month, I do like the talkbacks(even if they are in virtually unreadable format, they should be a forum where the debates can be better followed). But as for legitimate breaking news and timely reviews, their day has come and gone.

I don't care for Harry or the long fanboy style rants he does for just about EVERY movie
But I do go there because he seems to have many spies and readers willing to spill the beans on every movie out there.
If they redesigned the site it would do a world of good.
