I was disappointed when I heard the winner is only getting one million bucks. This is supposed to be special right? Shouldn't the prize have been more? Just my .02.

Excellent. I'll definitely be tuning in. I've been watching Survivor since season 1. I'll be fun to watch some of my favorites again. Too bad they didn't get Elizabeth from season 2 to appear in all-star though.

Great episode. Love Tina but there's no place for her on here. Awesome to see players underestimate Hatch. There's something weirdly magical about the way he plays.

So the survivors will be there for 39 days like before, yet there are 18 survivors. So that means there will be more than 1 person getting voted off some time down the road.

Richard is playing a similar game to his first appearance and it's working. He just sits back, let's the others fight amongst themselves, doesn't do a bit of work, yet no one really wants him gone. He is a true Survivor All-Star!

1st time viewer, never saw any other survivors, of course I am aware who most of them are through the wonders of media saturation.
But it was not as bad as I thought it would be. I'll keep tuning in.

I'm surprised Rupert and Rudy voted
off though. They're both really into partnering with people they can trust. Tina and Ethan are sure more into honoring their word than the two girls...

From what I heard, I think they tried, but she turned them down. Same with Colleen. So then they asked Amber (who said yes).

Thanks for the info. It's good to hear they at least tried to get Elizabeth and Colleen to appear in All-Star. Too bad they turn them down. Elizabeth was my favorite survivor.

But I am glad they went with Tina. Not only has she already won, but she doesn't really contribute much physically (unlike Ethan). Plus she was a sneaky sort-- the type who would smile at you all the while she was stabbing you in the back. I'm glad she's gone. Take her fake boobs back to Tennesee or wherever she lives with her trophy husband. I saw some episode of a decorating show --Designer's Challenge?-- she was on. She had the big front room in her new house remodeled and had a huge budget, something like 50k. She came across as being really superficial on that show and I liked her even less than I did on Survivor.
Richard Hatch looks like he re-gained most of the weight he lost on the island the first time. Knowing him, that was probably intentional so he could last longer without food. How is he gonna last without water?
I am still amazed that these people go on Survivor without first mastering the fire-making skill. I'd be practicing that in my backyard as soon as I found out I was going.
