Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced the upcoming 2004 release of Hot Shots Golf Fore! for PS2. The fourth installment in the franchise will be the North American version of Minnano Golf 4 - released in Japan in November. Fore! provides more golfers and courses than previous installments in the series as well as miniature golf and an online mode.

I haven't owned a Hot Shots golf game since the PS1, so this might be a good buy. This should provide some pretty solid multiplayer fun!

hot shots 3 was the best arcade golf game ever, slightly surpassing mario golf for n64. here's hoping fore! is just as great, as mario golf toadstool tour sucked with the lameass camera.

I loved Hot Shots 3. I'm not a big golf fan though. Maybe that's why I can't get into Tiger Woods at *all*, but HS3 was a blast.

I wonder if this will be enough of an improvement over 3 to justify a purchase. Hot Shots 3 is one of my favorite PS2 games.

Cool, I played HSG3 for a while until I got into Tiger Woods 2003...then Tiger 2004 came out and sucked horribley on the PC, so I havent played any golf in a long time (except for a breif rent of Mario Golf....worst golf game ever). Hot Shots has always been the best and I'm sure this will be no exception.
