Any info on Lion's Gate's release of The Eye?
Did some searching but did not come up with anything about the upcoming release of The Eye. Is this a barebones movie only release as seems to be the case based on amazon's info?
Thanks,
Dave

Wow, I didn't realize it was coming out so soon. I've come close to buying the 2-disc R0 set a couple times. Last time I was going to get it, the place had run out and all they had was the 1-disc.
Looks like I'll probably just get this one next week.

I'm still on the fence about this one.

THE EYE is a Hong Kong movie. Cantonese is the original language but IIRC there is a sequence in the film which has Thai in it, hence the specs. Fingers crossed for anamorphic enhancement and correctly timed English subtitles this time...

I watched it the other night.
I haven't seen it before, but the subtitles seemed correctly timed to me, even if a few of the translations seemed funny.
eg. A character breaks down and runs out of a room, and the doctor says "What's wrong, do you feel awkward?"
