DVD Talk review of 'The New Avengers '76'
I read Gil Jawetz's DVD review of The New Avengers '76 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=7818 and...
What's this about "the fact that BBC has certainly produced some supplemental material on the show in the decades since."? The BBC had nothing whatsoever to do with either the original Avengers or the New Avengers. The original was made by Associated British Corporation, which later became Thames Television, and the latter by a completely different company, the name of which escapes me at the moment. The assumption that I see in far too many places that the BBC makes all British television is erroneous.

My bad. What I meant to say was that there must be some retrospective typw show out there that could have been included as an extra. My assumption about BBC producing the show was an error. Thanks for pointing that out.
