Twin Peaks Season 2 DVD release date - in Europe
Paramount Sweden has confirmed that the season 2 DVD box set of Twin Peaks will be released in September 2004 in Europe. No reason is given for the lengthy delay, but hopefully it means they're taking time to come up with some extras.
Yes, I know, it's announced for Europe, but hopefully a region one release won't be far behind it.

I read this title and crapped my pants. Literally, I'm not kidding - I actually crapped my pants. That's why it took me a while to reply; I had to go to the bathroom and clean up.
So I get back to my computer, click on the thread, read it, and crap my pants again, only this time out of furious anger and utter hatred for calhoun07.

I don't see why you are all getting your knickers in a twist. A European release has to mean a region one release isn't far off, since both regions got season one pretty darned close together.

Aren't the rights for R1 in the hands of a different company? So that could have an effect on the release of an R1. If that company still wants to delay it (permanently or not), they will.

This is good news indeed. Considering we've been sitting around thinking we might not get any release of Season 2 at all other than what's included in that crappy Spanish boxset, I for one am excited. Hopefully, there'll be a UK release announced shortly as well.
