help buying a new dvd player: cheap ?
im looking now for a good player to buy that can play:
svcds
vcds
CDR/RW
mp3
i havent looked at dvdplayers since i purchased one back in like.. 2000. im looking for a pretty decent cheap dvd player.
range: $0-$75

I recommend the Norcent found here:

However, this dvd player does not have a lcd screen that displays the time and chapter.
Also, check your local Walmart. They have put these and other cheap dvd players on clearance.
I forgot to mention...some Norcent models can be made region free. Check http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers for more information on dvd players.
