Bestprices.com good or bad?

Just found out about them from another thread. Any horror stories? Thanks.

I have ordered from them 4 or 5 times. The last time I ordered a title that their web site said they had 7 of this title in-stock. My order says processing for 5-7 days so I email them to find out while it has not shipped. I get an email back saying that the person will make sure it ships right away. A few hours later I get an email saying this title is no longer available and my order has been cancelled. I check their web site and it says this title is no longer available 0 stock. About 24 hours later this title is once again listed as in-stock with 17 available. The title was the Bride of Frankenstein which at that time had recently gone OOP. After I emailed them they removed this title from their site 24 to 36 hours later but never did give me explanation. The only thing I could guess, they were using this title as bait hoping you would order more than this one title and then ship with TBOF as cancelled.

I never used them again but my other orders before that were okay except for the high shipping charge which I think was around 3.50 or 3.75 at the time.

A Couple of times for me

Once they just started.... and be fooled.
Thought they were just down the peninsula from me (Palo Alto), I took plunge to order despite higher than other in shipping charges. It turned out their warehouse was some where midwest and it took forever to get them + having to pay Tax.
That was it for me....
