Its Official??? FFX on 12/28/01
Best Buy is prominantly featuring Final Fantasy X for the PS2 as coming out on 12/28. I seriously hope some one gives me a crappy Xmas gift so that I can return it for this beauty. Man, how the hell am I going to find the time to play all these great PS2 games?

dangit... ebgames.com just changed the date to 1-2-02. they must have sold out of their shipment for the 26th. oh well... lets see what gamestop says....

Coolness that its coming out early!! But why why why why just a few days after christmas and not before??? It must be some kind of distribution decision.
In the meantime I noticed that you can listen to the english character voices on the FFX official homepage. The two I listened to were Tidus and Yuna, Tidus sounds pretty cool but Yuna's english actor doesn't sound so good, she sounds like she's reading a script instead of being a character. Anyway those were low quality samples I'm sure when the game comes out they will be much improved, can't wait for this game!!!!!

I haven't played Final Fantasy since the one on the original NES. I guess FF has advanced a bit since then. I'll be picking it up since I'm in need of a good RPG on the PS2.

Well, I didn't hate her voice as much as the other guys seemed to... Although, she was pretty bad at parts. "Okay." *sigh* You'll know soon enough. Rikku fo life!

I was only somewhat interested in this title. Then I picked up the new Winter Jampack with the playable FFX demo.
I cannot believe the graphics in this game.
The cut scenes are absolutely incredible. Of course, the in game graphics are awesome too.
IMO, this blows MGS2 out of the water in terms of jaw-dropping graphics. I can't wait.

I just checked the ebgames.com website and they have FFX now listed for 12-19-01. Looks like we may see it before Xmas... and if this is true, it comes out the day before my birthday (20th)

Amazon still has this listed as a 12/29 release.
Oh well....I used a $20 GC from a survey so I will not complain if I have to wait another week or so. Hopefully, they will follow suit with the date change which they usually do.....just slow sometimes in changing their info.Is Max Payne still due next week for the PS2??
