So I don't usually watch anime but I started Death Note on Netflix. Anyhow I'm halfway through the series (episode 20) and have noticed a total change in tone and quality. Before I allocate anymore time to the rest of it......did anyone else notice this? Does it revert back to the cat and mouse type episodes that it had earlier in the series? Thanks!

Yes, it reboots back to previous quality & style. However, it also feels like a retread of previous episodes. I vote to stick with it since you already invested the time in it. There is an ending, so you don't have to fear just a cliff-hanger that is never resolved.
