Re: Attack On Titan
Was looking for something to watch last night and browsing through Crunchyroll I saw this title. I only knew it from being mentioned on various anime sites, but hadn't really looked into it.
I watched the first two eps and this is just incredible. The kind of brutal storytelling I haven't watched since the first season of nuBSG.
And I'm kinda digging the add' info in the end credits animation.

That's interesting, is Netflix getting a lot of new anime now? I don't remember them having much anime, much less something that's not domestically released on DVD/Blu yet.

Did anyone read recent volume (55)? The story is getting pretty crazy.
As for season 2, I believe they already have enough material to run 2nd season and they could be busy drawing, etc...

The manga is actually released up to date on Crunchyroll manga, if you have a paid all access Crunchyroll account. They don't have the older volumes, though, probably because those are actually already published in English. But yes, pretty crazy, though the monthly schedule and all the talking heads is kinda trying my patience, I should probably just wait and read it all at once.
Thinking about it, yeah there is a ton of stuff that's happened since the reveal at the end of season 1, so I guess they could do a second season with a kind of natural conclusion, maybe even a third if they go with shorter ones.

Just finished watching the season 1 finale. Great stuff, though I am disappointed not to have learned anything really about the origin or "purpose" of the titans. Does the manga cover that?

Re: Attack On Titan
I've never watched this show before, but I may watch it on Adult Swim On Demand. But is the show censored in any way on Adult Swim? Or do they air it completely uncut? I don't know if there is any material on the show that might warrant censorship, but I was just curious.

Re: Attack On Titan
It's not announced, but expected by many. Two compilation movies (recap the series) are announced (one will premier in Japan in November 2014 & the other sometime in 2015). With the attention and popularity that the series is receiving globally, I would be surprised if there is no season 2. And if there is a season 2, it won't happen until 2015 at the earliest.

Re: Attack On Titan
For those who will bother to pay. Stringing it out like this is so unnecessary, I'm sure many won't want to wait. Not like having an english dub is needed anyway.
