The Holiday Anime Thread
It's that time of year when treetops glisten and otaku listen to hear sleigh bells in the snow. In the spirit of the holidays, I thought it might be fun to compile a list of anime programs with episodes that take place on Christmas (Day or Eve), New Year's Day or Eve or thereabouts. List the series, followed by episode title. A brief synopsis of the episode would also be a plus. I'll start:
R.O.D. The TV, "A Christmas Carol" - The Paper Sisters reveal how they came to be "sisters' one Christmas Eve in Hong Kong. It's a particularly touching episode.
Super Dimension Fortress Macross, "Romanesque" - Kamjin leads a band of Zentradi rebels on a Christmas Eve raid of Onogi City. Hikaru, Misa and Minmei reach an emotional crossroads.
Genshiken, "Problems and Countermeasures Arise When an Organization Undergoes Reconstruction" - The Genshiken are ordered to perform community service during Christmas time (and Winter Comic Fest) as restitution for setting a fire at the University club building. The new year begins with a new club chairman named.
That's all I can think of, off the top of my head. Whaddya got?

Pokemon did a Christmas episode. Maybe more than one. And I'm sure Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 each did, also. And Love Hina.
Also, an episode of the 1987 anime version of Little Women was released dubbed in English as A Little Women Christmas Story or something like that. The Christmas sequences from the book have been adapted for another, earlier anime series as well: the bit where they use the money Aunt March gave them to buy a present for their mother and the bit where they take their Christmas breakfast over to a poor family whose mother just had a baby. I've seen anime episodes dramatizing those parts.

Tokyo Godfathers = A trio of hobos find a baby on Christmas. They go on a mission to return the little guy and have all kinds of adventures along the way. Great holiday movie.

Oh My Goddess when Keiichi works multiple jobs in order to make enough money to buy Belldandy a gift that she'll really like. Probably one of my favorite holiday episodes.

Baron: You're absolutely right. Great holiday movie. I completely forgot that it took place on Christmas!
A few more:
Cardcaptor Sakura, "Sakura's Wonderful Christmas" - Sakura finally works up the courage to ask Yukito to an amusement park on Christmas, where they run into Shaolan and Meilin. Things are going fine when the Fiery card appears and threatens to spoil the fun.
Cardcaptor Sakura, "Sakura, The Card and the Presents" - When Eriol causes trouble for Sakura and Shaolan at Christmas time, Sakura sends the Mirror card gift shopping with her already suspicious brother Toya.
Cardcaptor Sakura, "Sakura and the Strange Written Fortune" Sakura's family runs into Tomoyo and her mother at the temple on New Year's Day. After receiving a cryptic fortune from Eriol, the Dream card comes to Sakura later that night as she sleeps.
Martian Successor Nadesico, "There is No Single 'Truth'" - Akito hides in his room from Yurika, Megumi and Ryoko as they look for a Christmas date. When the crew learns that the Nadesico is being absorbed into the Earth's defense fleet, Akito is replaced with a new Aestivalis pilot. However, Nergal makes him an offer to participate in a hazardous experiment.

Kasimasi ~Girl Meets Girl~ OVA (or episode 13, depending on which way you want to look at it) has a Christmas theme.

K-On!, "Christmas!" - Yui's sister Ui reminisces about a Christmas when they apparently were zygotes. The Light Music Club holds a Christmas party at the Hirasawa home. Also in attendance are Yui's friend Nodoka and the club's lovelorn faculty advisor, Sawako. Then, the club visits a temple on New Year's Day.
