Starting April 25 at 1 a.m., Paranoia Agent will join Adult Swim’s Toonami lineup. The series originally aired as part of Adult Swim in 2005, where it first gained a foothold with American audiences. This is just the latest in exciting news around Paranoia Agent, as the series joined the Funimation catalog exclusively earlier this year, in both subbed and dubbed formats. We'll be releasing Osamu Tezuka and Eiichi Yamamoto's famous ANIME-RAMA film 1001 Nights on Blu-Ray! Our version will feature the original film in Japanese with subtitles, but also a restored International cut, featuring the terrific and little-seen English dub of the film. Look: First of all, Case Closed: Episode "One", the 2016 TV movie that retells the origin of Detective Conan for modern audiences, is coming to Blu-Ray in July, with a brand new dubbed version from @BangZoom, starring @TheGriffinBurns as Shinichi Kudo and @WendeeLeeVO as Conan Edogawa. In fact, @TheGriffinBurns recorded a little video greeting for the panel audience! Let's take a look at his message of positivity and excitement in these tough times. We can't wait for you all to hear the new voice of Shinichi Kudo! We are also planning on continuing to release City Hunter TV series and films on Blu-Ray, but expect there to be a bit of time before we can announce the next release-- there's a lot of stuff in the pipeline. Sit tight! We'll be releasing Combattler V in SD-BD. Our release will feature the entire 54-episode series of Tadao Nagahama's tremendous robot romance epic in Japanese with subtitles, in standard definition on Blu-Ray. This fan-fave action series, which rang in the 2000s and aired to great acclaim on Toonami, is coming to high-def, with Japanese and English audio. Note: that the 2011-12 s-CRY-ed films aren't included; that's a separate license. ...okay, we lied about our final announcement. THIS is our final announcement. The remaining five Urusei Yatsura films are coming to Blu-Ray! Starting with Movie 1, "Only You," we'll be releasing the rest of the UY film collection. These releases will include both subs and the dub produced for AnimEigo by Swirl Productions. Other extras and release dates TBA. As mentioned in our Otakon 2019 panel (we miss you, @otakon!!), we'll be releasing Demon City Shinjuku on Blu-Ray in July, and Osamu Tezuka's Cleopatra on Blu-Ray later in the year. Symphogear is still being worked on, but we should have a date for it pretty soon. |

That's an interesting point about them ceasing DVD operations. Nice to see a niche hobby like anime leading a change like that.

Case Closed (Detective Conan) Episode "One" TV Special trailer. This will be under the Case Closed name due to certain circumstances. We will have more Conan movies coming soon and to be announced later! |

At the Anime Lockdown panel on Sunday we announced this! Coming in 2021 S-CRY-ed the complete TV series on Blu Ray! It will have the original English dub and also Japanese with English subs! |
