Originally released in May 2003, Daft Punk & Leiji Matsumoto’s Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem was written by Thomas Bangalter, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Cédric Hervet, directed by Kazuhisa Takenouchi and supervised by the legendary Leiji Matsumoto.

Interstella 5555 tells the story of the abduction of an alien music band by an evil human character who has dark plans. The hour-long film was cut into music videos to accompany Daft Punk’s album Discovery, and is rare to see in its original form in cinemas.

The film will be immediately followed by a curated selection of iconic Daft Punk videos from directors including Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, Seb Janiak, Roman Coppola, and Warren Fu.

HOUSTON, TX — November 12, 2024 — AMC Networks' HIDIVE returns to Fort Worth, TX next month for Anime Frontier 2024 with an extensive line-up of screenings of both current and upcoming titles available exclusively from the fast-growing anime streaming service. As part of today's announcement, HIDIVE revealed two new series, From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! and Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster!, that will debut in January as part of its Winter 2025 simulcast season following their North American premieres at Anime Frontier 2024. HIDIVE's Anime Frontier 2024 programming schedule encompasses a half dozen screenings presented over the three day weekend, December 6 – 8, at the Fort Worth Convention Center and is open to all badge holders.

Based on the popular seinen manga by Michiro Ueyama, From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! is the new isekai comedy about a 52 year old civil servant reincarnated as the villainess and main character in his daughter's favorite video game. The show is directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi and produced by Ajia-do Animation Works, together with series composition by Shingo Irie and character design by Haruka Matsunae and Yuki Miyamoto. From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! is the newest title in the slate of anime TV series acquired as part of Sentai Filmworks' (Sentai) multi-year agreement with Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) revealed in March 2023.

Adapted from the long-running seinen manga written by Nozomi Ginyo and illustrated by Taro Shinonome, Beheneko: The Elf-Girl's Cat is Secretly an S-Ranked Monster! is the new ecchi comedy about the adventures of a slain knight now reincarnated monster that has sworn to protect his beautiful elven rescuer but must do so in the form of an adorable kitten. INTRODUCTION

Sakura is a loner and a high school delinquent who wants to be a fighter at the top of the world. He makes his way to Furin High School, a high school infamously known for its delinquents.

However, Sakura learns that Furin High School has transformed into a group that protects the town now known as the “Chime of the Wind Breaker” — Bofurin.

Now a member of Bofurin, he engages with the people in the town, fights and wins against another group, Shishitoren, and matures along the journey. As Grade Captain, he'll face off against another slew of new enemies.

Season one of WIND BREAKER aired in April 2024, and will return with a vengeance for season two very soon!

SYNOPSIS
Anyone who causes pain, who brings destruction, who holds evil in their heart will be purged by Bofurin without exception!

Where the average scores are the lowest, but the fights are the strongest. Furin High School is renowned as a super school of delinquents.

Haruka Sakura, a first-year student, came from outside the city to fight to the top. However, Furin High School has become a group that protects the town called the “Chime of the Wind Breaker” – Bofurin.

Forming connections with his friends and the townspeople, Sakura's idea of what it means to be "at the top" begins to change. He makes new friends and encounters new enemies. He fights to protect as he stands as Grade Captain, taking the heroic legend of this high school delinquent to the next stage!
