I was looking at some other stuff on Amazon last night before making my final order. Checked my cart, BSG 4.0 was still $17.99. Looked up another product, came back, and it was $21.49! BSG 3.0 which was also in my cart stayed at $17.99. Those are the only two sets I ordered. I looked at the other BSG sets on Amazon. Most of them stayed at $17.99. However, Season 2.5 and 4.0 both went up to $20.49 and $21.49, respectively. I'm going to contact Amazon customer service and see if I can get that Season 4.0 price reduced back to $17.99.

I did confirm the order, since the 4.0 price was still a good deal and I was afraid of it going up again.

I dawdled on getting BSG S4.0 and S4.5 and it jumped up to $21.49 and $24.99 respectively. No sale at those prices, kids. True Blood S1 soared to $55.

Been away this week and someone already beat me to it. DouglasRobert also confirmed spotting seasons 1-4.0 at Wal-Mart and listed the price at $16.96 per set.

Good deal, but I'm waiting for the BD set to go on sale.

I see some lower prices today than I saw yesterday-

Anyone think they will bundle both parts of season 4 at some point for under 30, or this is probably as low as it will get and pull the trigger on buying?

Anything is possible but I have never seen 2.0 and 2.5 budled so no reason to believe they will bundle 4.0 and 4.5.

Well, the two have been shrink-wrapped together at Target for $40 total, but even then it'd be less to order them individually from Amazon.

4.5 is still $16.99 and I jumped at it.

For the rest, Walmart is still selling every other set for $16.96 around here. I dunno.

if your looking to get the whole series, your best bet is to get 1-4.0 at walmart and 4.5 at target while it's on sale this week

I ask about the bundle because i bought from DD for about $22 for seasons 2/2.5 awhile ago. I was under the impression it was put out that way, but some responses make me think it was a DD move, and not by the DVD company.

So perhaps pulling the trigger on season 4 as a whole for 35 might be a frugal move.

Turns out the price drop was coming from Universal putting out the complete series again combined with The Plan movie for a whole $200. So if you buy everything for cheap, you'll still save $100.

This is not related to the deal, but I bought the whole series set and, due to time constraints, have only watched up to season 2 so far. Would I get many spoilers if I start watching "Caprica" or does it not matter?

Heh. Just looked at my Amazon cart and it says, "Please note that the price of Battlestar Galactica - Season 4.0 has increased from $17.99 to $40.99 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart." Crazy.

^It's because the sale event that included BSG ended. Prices are back to "normal" for now.
