how hard SCTV vol.4 is to the find, you really should have bought that and vol1. That way, it's unlikely someone would get vols 2 and 3 and you'd have the hardest ones to get.

Just kidding you personally - I will be heading in that direction but I've already picked up the SCTV sets. However, it wouldn't surprise me is another DVD Talk lurker wasn't taking notes of your find considering how YMMV the sets were.

I'm not going to waste time or hold my breath finding a copy of SCTV Volume 4 in my area. I live in a well-populated city where there are only 4 DG stores and a lot of people looking for it. I just ordered it from Newbury Comics online for $17.99. Still beats any other price out there! If there was a coupon code to use, this would have been even better!

Well, I picked up 3 and 4 shortly after, so I've pretty much completed the NBC run of the show. Like shaggy, I have to give thanks to the OP. I never go to Dollar General looking for DVDs, and thanks to him, I spent $40 on a TV show I would have spent about $190 for if I ordered them and bought them from the FYE I work at (and that's factoring in my discount).

I've watched all of these and again thank the original poster for letting me catch up on this series for $10 a set.

My local used CD/DVD stores are now full of copies of SCTV so I know where all the other sets ended up. They are selling them for $29.99 to $39.99 used. You can tell they are all ones that came from Dollar General.

Thanks a lot for the coupon! I used it today to pick up the first three volumes of SCTV (FINALLY!!!) and the Miracles complete series set. Have any of you guys ever watched that Miracles show? If so, what did you think?

I didn't see volume 4 of SCTV anywhere, so if any of you can help hook me up with that final set, please let me know. I'd really be thankful if you could indeed help me out there.

Check on Ebay, I think that's where a lot of them are winding up. I don't have one of these stores near me, but I was able to get all 4 volumes for $10-$15 a piece. Amazon merchants have them pretty cheap too.

Sorry, man. The Dollar General I found these at only had one of each. I've been checking other ones in the area, and I haven't seen any others.

You could take Surfinhank's advice, and check eBay or the Amazon Marketplace.

I went to the Dollar General on Noland Road Independence MO,last week.They still had one of the SCTV voumes.I do not remember which,but it was NOT volume 4(otherwise,I'd had bought it).
