Holy freakin crap. Too bad I have all 4...recommended to anyone who likes sketch comedy, though. Go see the way a Jeopardy parody should REALLY be done!

Thanks OP! I'll check that out, I don't have any SCTV on DVD, loved it back in the day.

Sad to see such brilliance remaindered. I'm satisfied to have paid full price on SCTV seasons upon their release. Highly recommended to all as blind buys. The wit blows SNL into the weeds.

I paid over $40 for each of these sets at various DDD 20% off sales and thought they were a tremendous bargain at that price. $10 each is just ridicuously cheap. Congrats to Shout! Factory for licensing almost all of the original music for these sets, making the travesty of the recent WKRP release all the more glaring.

These had a May 2007 sticker on the back. If they don't have them today, keep checking in each week. I think they get a new truck in every week. It's definitely a YMMV deal. I found these at one about 25 miles away from my house. The other 3 DS 10 minutes away didn't have them. I picked up the first 6 by the way for under $64. I already had the other 2.

If I'm guessing correctly, this is actually All-American Girl (the short-lived Margaret Cho series).

There is none in California at all, and I've been holding out on the SCTV sets for when there was a good sale on them

Wow, Nebraska finally has something California doesn't. I may check into this at lunch... There are 5 stores within a 5-mile radius of my work.

Stopped by one of ours but no luck. They had The Best Of Paris (non pornographic) $5 and the Best Of Charlies Angels for $3 and a couple other trash DVDs. Also a lot of VHS.

Too bad as that was the price point I have been waiting for on the SCTVs and Cho

I called a ton of stores and none of them said that they had any of these sets. The weird thing is that there were only two kinds of people who answered the phones - women who sounded stoned, pissed off, and like the worlds biggest bitch, and then those that sounded like very nice older women.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the original poster of this deal. I had season 1, but I had yet to buy the others due to the price. Thankfully they had 1 single copy each of 2,3 and 4 at a local Dollar General and it was worth driving into that high crime area to score them. They had a very tiny display, but they had 1 copy each of Mike Hammer and Heathcliff and a bunch of that awful Cho TV series and the Poker set.

They also had the 007 Scene It for $5 so I bought that as well.

Awesome deal.

This is a great deal. There are a crap load of Dollar Generals in AZ. Unfortuntately, I have spent much of my afternoon driving through the ghettoes of Phoenix without much luck. If anyone knows of any DG's in AZ where I can find them, please let me know.

BTW, has anyone seen Freaks and Geeks at the DG's where they live?
