Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 - (11/21/2018)

I'm okay with a new Wreck It Ralph movie, hopefully it is as good as the original.
Right now thought, the first tangible sign that Wreck-It Ralph 2 is on the way has come from composer Henry Jackman. In an interview with him, Collider asked if he'd heard news of a Wreck-It Ralph 2. His answer? "I did, to be honest with you. I can’t tell you more, not because I’m being coy, but I believe that it is officially on the cards. I don’t know any more other than a story is indeed being written".

Bring it on.
Wreck-It Ralph is one of the few titles out there that can justify a sequel being made.
There's a wealth of video-game characters and devices they can bring into the mix.

I'm guessing Wreck-It-Ralph will be getting a HD makeover for the digital age but the new Ralph has evil intentions and old school Ralph needs to teach himself a lesson.

Loved the first flick and would gladly welcome a sequel.
I'm guessing with consoles offering downloadable ports of classic games they could easily have Ralph interact with a lot newer games that have never seen the inside of an arcade cabinet.

I was thinking it might be cool to see Ralph pair up with a videogame hero - like Dirk the Daring - on an adventure .. There are so many potentially cool ways they could go with future tales.

Not sure how I feel about a sequel to this one. I really like Wreck-It Ralph but it did almost everything it could with the concept in the original movie, imo at least.
I know they could go on other adventures and what not, but that seems more apt for a TV series.

I think the series and characters are perfect for a sequel, especially with the ability to explore more video game worlds. Loved this movie, so looking forward to more

Meh. I feel like the whole concept of the character works out for the one film. I feel like it'll have a BS concept to bring out the characters again.

According to Moore “This time, Ralph’s wrecking wreaks havoc on the Web—as only he can do. Characters we loved in the first film are back and we are ecstatic to be working with them—and the actors who voice them—once again.”
Reilly and Sarah Silverman are the only two actors officially announced though
“The world of the internet is the perfect place to send Ralph and Vanellope,” added Johnston. “The scope and scale are so vast and the possibilities for comedy are endless.”
With the characters moving to the internet, many may wonder how the world of classic video games will play into the film. Well, speaking to Collider, Moore said that “We’re really trying to find that balance of how can we have those great kind of references to retro arcade culture but also have it feel that this is also a contemporary world with newer games, [and] everything you can find on the internet.”

They have to resign Jack McBrayer as Fix it Felix. Don't really need Jane Lynch. This should be fun. We really enjoyed the first one

Fix it Felix character was my favorite thing about the movie. So hope he comes back.
The Jane Lynch character, needs to either be left out or recasted. Hate her.

Ever since we heard that Walt Disney Animation Studios is creating a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph, we have basically been talking about it on a daily basis. Lucky for us, today at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, filmmakers debuted even more information about the sequel, and it all sounds amazing! First, we now know the full title for the film! Are you ready to wreck it with excitement for this title? Feast your eyes on this brand new logo:
Your eyes do not deceive you. The new title of the movie is officially: Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. We love this so much. As if that wasn’t enough to make our Wreck-It Ralph fan hearts soar, we also found out today that both Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer, who voiced Sergeant Calhoun and Fix-It Felix respectively, will be returning to voice their characters, along with John C. Reilly (Ralph) and Sarah Silverman (Vanellope). Filmmakers also announced that, as the title might suggest, in this story Wreck-It Ralph will be escaping the arcade and traveling through the expansive universe of the internet. We can’t wait to see him break it!
The team behind Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will be directors Rich Moore and Phil Johnston and producer Clark Spencer, all of whom previously worked on Zootopia and Wreck-It Ralph.
Moore said the following about the upcoming sequel:
“To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore. Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know—the internet—but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”
Johnston also offered his excitement:
“We’re so excited to be working with Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Fix-It Felix, and Sergeant Calhoun again, and we have new characters we look forward to unveiling. At the center of this film, as in the first one, is the relationship between Ralph and Vanellope, two once-outcasts, who in each other, found true friendship.”
