Nice to see that death hasn't slowed down Tom Clancy's game output at all.

Re: Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Wildlands

This has been one of those games that has been under the radar with all the other hyped games coming out. The co-op and open world on this seems to have lot of potential. I like the emphasis of working together, sort of a Rainbow Six: Vegas feel.

Re: Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Wildlands

I hope it's like those old Navy SEAL games for Playstation. A team of 4 that you could switch between seamlessly to take control of while the other 3 would be AI.

I've always enjoyed the Ghost Recon games, so this should be a fun ride.

This games looks great - I just hope it's much better than the division (I only say that cause the division was my first tom clancy game).

You should check out Splinter Cell Conviction and Blacklist. Both are solid action/stealth games.

Hoping this is more Ghost Recon and less The Division.

Re: Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Wildlands

It's definitely got a bit of The Division in it with the various parts but the world and venues look to be far more massive and varying. As to the Ghost Recon part...I think they'll hold true to it as being part sneaking/infiltrating/surprise and the other part straight up action. It looks like you'll have plenty at your disposal in terms of arms, gadgets and even vehicles.

I loved the last GR game I played and usually there were three of us. We like the part of planning moving in, taking down enemies behind and sniping targets but making sure their bodies weren't found and discovered.

Re: Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Wildlands

I absolutely loved Rainbow 6: Vegas......the story, stealth, action, teamwork, tactical approach options, load outs, weapons....just classic. I like those games where you actually have to think a bit and plan before just going in with full guns blazing all the time.

Not to mention the MP was perfect. If you didn't communicate and work cohesively, you lost.

This is still one of my favorite games of all time. I was disappointed in R6 Siege and hope they go back to more Vegas in the next one.

Re: Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Wildlands

Vega 2 was good but I still like the first one far better. by the looks so far...Wildlands can bring it back in a far bigger and more varying style world yet keeping the objectives and play style the same. I hope I can get into the beta on this one.....

Re: Tom Clancy Ghost Recon: Wildlands

details have been released as to the map......

http://www.polygon.com/2016/12/9/138...-wildlands-map

Wildlands will be divided into 21 regions, each with its own civilian population. Each region has its major towns and hamlets, arterial roads and waterways. But the game’s developers tell us that they will also have their own industry and way of life as well.
“We have a full agenda for the NPCs, so they really live in the world,” Benoit Martinez, the game’s lead artist and technical art director, told Polygon. “They go to bed at night. They get up. They go to work. Whether or not you interact with them or not, they live their own life.”
The game will also feature 11 different biomes, completely unique ecological areas with their own climate, topography, plants and animals.
