If there isn't a PS4 bundle that includes this game, I'm going to be very sad.
(I also thought there was a thread for this game already, but can't find it...)

For the record :
I spent over 90 minutes in line for The Order, but I "lucked out" I suppose since I got a random card that gave me access to the longer demo. It was like 45 minutes long. Really enjoyed the game. Yes, a lot is like Heavy Rain (actually simpler, since it's just button presses not gestures), but it also had stealth elements and gunplay that was pretty fun. Looks great, though I got a glitch that de-synced the dialog. Overall it looks really polished. They also had the Collector's and Limited Editions. I went and preordered the Collector's one for $79.99 - it has a nice small statue of the main character hiding behind cover. The Limited Edition is $150 and has a huge statue of him battling an alien or something. Gorgeous but huge and expensive and apparently sold out everywhere.

I can't stress this enough : If you're thinking about this game, go for the Collector's edition. It's only $20 more (79.99), available for $61.99 at Best Buy with GCU, has an incredibly cool, detailed statue about 5" high, steelbook, digital soundtrack and DLC. Sometimes you can't tell how a figure looks based on the picture, but I saw this and it's REALLY nice, especially for the price. Hell of a deal if you ask me. Here's the full package:
Just for fun, this it the very expensive, elaborate $149.99 Premium Edition that is only available at Amazon and Game Stop. Really amazing, dynamic looking statue there, but too big for my house.

I've been pretty cool on this game until seeing the latest gameplay video and comments from Decker.
It probably seems like a small thing, but I love how the environment reacts during the firefights. Lots of stuff moving and breaking really adds to the immersion.

It's weird -- some of it lags behind. The rappelling down into the airship was really sluggish and felt as interactive as Night Trap of the Sega CD. Other parts like sneaking up on guards and some of the shooting felt very much like Uncharted. I'm not saying the game is a must-buy yet. I'd wait for the reviews. But I'd still cover my bases and order the Collector's Edition version for in-store Pick Up because it's the better value if you decide to pick it up.

The only reason I'm hesitant to order the Collector's Edition is if there's a console bundle announced (whether it's an official bundle or just a discount on buying the system and game together). I guess I could pre-order, then cancel if something better comes along...

It's seriously cool. There are guns with Telsa coils (though I didn't get to try one of those). They had life-sized replicas of the guns in a case at their booth and they looked sweet. They also had a life-sized wax figure of the main character and I took a picture with him.
That video chess posted was from the 45 minute demo I played. It's pretty fun mostly. It's from Chapter 5 and I didn't really understand who I was playing or their motivation. It was funny : There's a part where you're supposed to use your sniper scope and identify the rebels that are dressed like guards, but without an insignia on their shoulders. I did that and then it occurred to me that I didn't know which side I was on and if I was supposed to be shooting or protecting the rebels. Once the guys without patches started shooting at me, I figured it out.

I stand corrected there
Just an approximation. I looked at it behind a plexiglass display case. It's probably 7" high to the top of the wrought iron fence. The figure is about 5-6" tall. Nicely detailed, with gold metallic paint on the accents. It really looks sharp and the pose is much more dynamic than what you normally see from these things.
- 7" long x 5" high?.

I'm pretty much sold on the Collectors Edition. I think at that price, that's actually a decent bundle. Shame the Bloodborne CE doesn't have a neat statue as well...be a nice pair.

Re: The Order: 1886 - PS4 (2/20/2015)
me please. (If Dan doesn't mind). I'm really into this game now and have already adorned my PS4 with a The Order 1886 faceplate that I bought on Saturday at PSX. A theme would tie things up nicely.
