Checked the Seekonk, MA and Warwick, RI stores, but no luck.
Nothing at all on blu-ray in Warwick beyond new releases, but I picked up Sin City (2 disc) for $12.88 in Seekonk. They also had Pearl Harbor for $9.88, and a few other $9.88 titles that I can't recall.

Went back tonight and the manager let me back there again and even helped me look as we talked about movies and tv shows. I found nothing new, but I did get my copy of MI 3 to make the full set. Full MI trilogy for 15 bucks, not bad. lol

Thought only partly related, in post #20 I described how my Sam's Club had reduced their BD and DVD sections to almost nothing. If a couple people could let me know if their Sam's Club is like I describe in my post linked below, I'd appreciate it (because I'm a curious guy). I don't have any other Sam's Clubs nearby, so I can't compare. Thanks.

Went and used a guest pass, they add 10% to any purchases you make. Only got Days of Thunder and Failure to Launch. Really wanted the MI's but they didn't have them. Still at the $5 and change I spent on them it was a deal.

Just checked the Sam's Club in Knoxville and they had all the titles listed. I had to ask three different managers to open up the cage where the movies were since only a handful were actually on the floor. I picked up all three Mission Impossible movies, Face/Off, Clear and Present Danger along with Patriot Games....each rang up 4.88. :-)

Are you saying other titles other than the list in the original post may be 4.88 also? or was this in the batch of Paramount titles and not listed in the original post? Just wondering if I need to make another Sams run looking for others that may or may not be discounted..

No idea if there is more, that is the only one there that I saw that I hadn't seen before.

While this is true, I think what he's getting at is that a transfer was created for that DVD, and it was probably like 10 years ago. That transfer is going to be of a worse quality than one that is processed for home video release today, due to new technologies of creating and processing the film, from what I understand at least. Many Blu-rays are created using transfers that were created for the DVD release years prior, which is why there are so many sub-par catalog releases.

I saw tonight at my club
Diary of a Wimpy Kid / The Tooth Fairy 2 pack blu-ray tonight for $19.88
Law Abiding Citizen / Righteous Kill 2 pack blu-ray tonight for $13.88
I'm sure more pairings will be showing up closer to Christmas.

There were quite a few at mine, I can't for the life of me remember the second movie, but I saw one with Percy Jackson in it

only some threads are store specific... cause those stores seem to have continual deals.... most threads are deal specific.... this is a deal specific thread... hopefully those finding store specific deals w/o a store specific thread.. will start a deal specific thread for the deal.. or a new store specific thread...
