I thought everybody pronounced, or at least knew that many others pronounced, Target as Tarjay.

From what I heard, by giving it a foreign (French?) pronunciation, it makes the store seem more upscale. Target (tarjay) is no longer a discount store but a trendy boutique. At least that is what I have heard. It is supposed to be a goof. I call it the place that doesn't price match.

lemme bore you with my somewhat unfounded yet somewhat commonsensical observations about the recent history of tarjay...
target was dying in the late 90s and needed to improve sales or just die. they hired a big ad agency to redo what target is. said ad agency stripped target down and rebuilt their stores interior and exterior, ad campaigns, products, marketing focus, target demographic, etc. and now they are more or less what they intended to be - a chic discount store. ergo tarjay.
if you guys remember those cool print ads, i think it all started with the ones that made fun of fashion ads. for example, i recall one of a pretty woman wearing a dress and a lampshade. the ad pointed out that the dress was $20 and the lampshade was $15. or something like that.
of course, most of the above is prolly very inaccurate

for the sake of completion, are the amazon woodstock limited editions in sd dvd and br actually exclusives? the site mentions exclusive content, but is it really?
but yeah, other than that, nothing of interest it seems.

Reportedly, the Amazon exclusive is similar to Target's. The 2nd disc is different than the normal 2nd disc, with 3 exclusive performances and 3 exclusive featurettes.

just fyi, the target woodstock is pretty huge. im actually not sure if the case is supposed to be a bongo drum or not, but it looks like the top of supposed drum is a tambourine too. all housed in a 9.5 inch high cylinder with a 9 inch radius. it seems bigger though.
