Are there that many errors in this year's game? Kind of surprising as I thought that WWE 2K14 was one of the better entries in quite some time and I expected this year's to basically just be an updated version of it. Surprised that so many animations are messed up.

It's the same crap every year. They're still using the same engine they've been using since the PS2 days. Even the PS4/XBOne versions of the game are using a modified version of it.

All 2K14 had going for it was the roster. It still had the same glitches that the game has had for years because they won't get rid of the extremely tired engine.

They've even gone and screwed up the match options this year in the new gen games. Well, by mess up I mean they pretty much removed them. Wanna turn off DQ? Can't. Have a 2 out of 3 falls match? Nope. Tornado Tag? Gone.

I played 3-4 hours of the new version of this last night and the reviews are a little harsher than I'd be. Yes, features are stripped out, that sucks. Gameplay wise though I think they've done some interesting work. Matches have a better flow to them.

Played a few matches with Sting last night and enjoyed it. I skipped last year, and agree that matches have a good flow. Lots of opportunity for counters. I ended a match against Punk with a comeback, Stinger splash, deathdrop combo for the pin, and that was awesome.

Ok, I have no idea how to play this game and the in-game instructions aren't any help. It seems like doing moves is just completely random. Is there an actual method to picking what move you want to do?

It depends what direction you are holding the stick when you press the button.

If you go into the custom move-set you can see each one.

Help me understand the Season Pass...if I buy the Season Pass, are the DLC characters (IE:WCW pack, etc.) included or is it ONLY the extra showcases and I still have to pay even more money for the DLC characters they release?

Showcases only. Well, you get the Accelerator and Paige too.

Holy shit is some of the DLC bad. Got the WCW pack today and Paige was finally available.

DDP looks hideous. Like a bad CAW of Dog the Bounty Hunter.

And Paige is so generic. And doesn't even have her piercing.

On an unrelated note, I started watching wrestling again recently after having quit watching in the late 90's after the glory days of WCW and I am amazed at how lame the characters/gimmicks are now. New Dawn, Fandango, The Uso's, those Mexican guys with the midget, Jack Swagger, The Miz (although Mizdow is funny in a retarded way), Hell there is a fucking guy in a bunny suit wrestling now....people enjoy that bullshit? I find myself fast forwarding through 80% of the programs.

What the hell? That looks nothing like DDP. I've seen CAW's that look better than that DLC version of him.
