I can't recall what they call the companion app chests, but those are separate. Once one's unlocked, you can mark it in the app and it will show up as your destination on the map in-game. Or you can just wait 24 hours and one of your assassin's in the app will retrieve it and it'll automatically add to your inventory.

Unless they've fixed it in the last couple days, the Initiates system is broken. It's supposed to track across a bunch of Ubisoft games and give you points for accomplishing things in them, but in Unity it hasn't been pulling from other games, or even tracking progress within the game.

Got Platinum on this yesterday. Not a terrible tough time getting it, but it was time consuming. Getting all those chests were boring as hell. I did do them while I was running around doing the Nostradamus Riddles tho, so that helped make them go a bit smoother.
Had a good time with Music too doing some of the online co-op.

Just wrapped it up. 2 > Black Flag > Brotherhood > Revelations > Unity > 1 > 3. I still think it's worth a discounted purchase and playthrough.

This thread is making me realize I need to check out BF. I actually enjoyed 3 (outside of that stupid end chase sequence); only played 1 and half of 2 otherwise. Time for look for deals on the PS4 version.

I completed the main story on this one and decided to go back to Black Flag to finish that one.
I'm starting sequence 7 and just can't get into the game for some reason... probably just the different gameplay and control options (i.e health)
Maybe I will just go back and play/finish the games from II on up.

I need to go back and play 2. I beat the original and Blag Flag, played a little of 2 and nothing else. So I think if I beat 2 I will have beat all of the "good" ACs.

Rumor going around that the season pass for Unity got cancelled (gold edition of the game is removed from the PSN). As a sort of apology for releasing a buggy game, whoever already bought the season pass will get a Ubisoft game as a refund, and all buyers of the console version should be getting the DLC "The Dead Kings" for free.

Today's patch is an insane improvement. Climbing the window in front of Sainte-Chapelle would drop to less than 1 frame per second at times before. Now it's pretty smooth there, maybe a touch of slow down, and the general running around is much smoother now. No idea if any of the multiplayer stuff was fixed, haven't messed with that at all yet.

It's just sad that this is 3 weeks after it came out, noble effort but it shouldn't have happened. Of course I assume they had their A-team come in and clean up the B-team's efforts.
This is $33.49 as a Xbox One digital download on GameDealDaily.com - was the patch released for all versions of the game?

is GDD reputable? I've never used them, but that's a pretty good price. And Black Flag is only $11.49. Damn!

It was in my order confirmation, so less than 5 minutes, it was there by the time I checked my email

Thanks. I've never ordered a code online, so I wasn't sure how that would work, exactly. I kind of expected a delay.

Kudos to them for trying to fix the game, but now it appears the nomad chests are broken. I've unlocked three that are showing in the app, but when I tag them there and go to them in the game, it tells me to play the companion app to unlock them. Fuck whoever decided to make a fun single-player series into a fucking maze of broken social, coop and smartphone bullshit.

So out of this gen.. which version is better? PS4 or XB1? Cuz all these sales are making me want to get the XB1 a lot more just cuz it has like 2 games in it.
