how does EA Access work exactly? is it as easy to play a game as just booting it up and it has saves and all that?

i used Playstation Now for a little while on Android TV to play some PS3 games and found it very glitchy and games would stutter sometimes and i would lose connection. i became disinterested in playing games on it with that. is EA like that at all?

and if i get EA Access, i will be able to play Unravel, correct?

EA Access gives you rights to download and play all the games in the vault. When you download a game, it takes you to the xbox store to install, then it's no different than if you purchased a game and played off your hard drive.

Unravel is in the vault, so yes you can play it.

re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

I apologize if these question have been asked before but I could really use some help. We are buying our daughter a Xbox One to go in her room for Christmas. I already have a Xbox One in the living room.

So here's my questions: I don't want to buy her own Xbox Live account. Can I just log in to the one that will be going in her room and she can play games on it? Also, is there any way to set her up an account without buying her an Xbox Live card so my hard drive isn't filled up with games like Barbie's puppy rescue?

Thank You for any help someone can give me on this matter.

Also, keep in mind that the video apps Netflix, Hulu, etc. don't need an Xbox Live Gold account anymore; any free Xbox Live account will do. You only need Gold for multiplayer.

So if your daughter isn't going to be playing any multiplayer games, you can create a free Xbox Live account for her, add the account to your family, and purchase her games on that account.

If she wants to play multiplayer on her account on her Xbox, you'll either need to make her Xbox the "home" Xbox, meaning you will need to log in on the living room Xbox with your account to play online, or buy her Gold access.

Thank you so much for your help Jay! You are a life saver! One more question if you don't mind. Can I download my games on to her Xbox One if I set her up a free account? Thank you so much for your help.

Darn, guess I somehow never bought Bastion on the 360; probably just iOS and PC.

Can anyone recommend some 2-player co-op games I could play with my 6-year-old niece? She's kinda hyper and not too coordinated. So nothing that requires a lot of instructions or complex controls.

Maybe the Lego games? Are those good with young kids, or are they made for teens?

Had a lot of fun with Rayman Legends with my kids at that age.

The Marvel Lego games in particular are good for that age. More button mashing and less problem solving. Lots to unlock and decent humor. Plus you have characters who can fly around as well.

Your Lego instincts are spot-on. You can't really "die" in those games; you just explode into little bits and immediately reappear, so no progress is actually lost. If you're playing with her and can tackle whatever puzzles pop up, I'm sure she'll have fun. There's Skylanders as well, although having to buy figures might send you down a rabbit hole you're not crazy about.

Rocket League is a really fun local game too, and there doesn't have to be more to it than steering and accelerating (so one stick and one trigger) if you want. You can both play on the same team or you could go head-to-head.

The lego games are great. I'm not sure about on the one, but the TMNT games that are beat em ups are great for that age. My 6 year old daughter loves the Joe Danger games too.

Any of the Disney Infinity games should be dirt cheap by now (and the figures as well)

Posted this in the deals thread but Lost Odyssey for 360, which is backwards compatible, is free for download until the end of the year.

Blog post - http://news.xbox.com/2016/12/14/lost...-limited-time/

https://majornelson.com/2016/12/14/l...inkId=32388564

While the team behind this feature continues to increase the library of available titles, they’re also expanding the capabilities. When Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon were initially added to Xbox One Backward Compatibility library, they were only available to players who owned the original discs. But the team engineered a solution and now both titles are available digitally in the Xbox 360 Marketplace.
Blue Dragon is Backwards Compatible too and available digitally for purchase for $19.99.
