Yeah, I'm also going to level 5 on things then housing them.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Some people have had some of these buildings disappear when put into storage. They were then able to buy more of them. A few were had the missing ones show up later, ending up with more than 10.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

According to the wiki site, the upgradable buildings add an XP multiplier.

1% per condo.
2% per business center.
3% per valet parking.
4% per classic mansion.
5% per modern mansion.
150% total (unless you manage to get more than 10 of some buildings).

The multiplier does not apply to cash and does not show up in the Conform-O-Meter.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I haven't had any buildings disappear from inventory yet.

There is definitely something going on with the XP multiplier. I just did a couple checks, and I was getting 4 XP instead of 1 for the Kwik-E-Mart, and 85 instead of 25 for an orange house. My Conform-O-Meter is showing a 112.70% multiplier, and I have 45 buildings, including some in storage (I assume those still count for the multiplier since they still count for the real-estate value).

XP is still pretty slow going, though, since I have everyone on 12-hour tasks so I can keep up with Heights.

Not sure how we would ever figure out this stuff without wikis and blogs. Especially when it doesn't show up on the meter.

Turns out that the ice cream truck is another vehicle that can have a road placed underneath it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Unlocked the lake.

Also, Confirm Spend has saved me twice from spending two donuts each on rushing 30-second tasks, which would be the worst donut spend ever.

One of my few real-life TSTO friends put all the expensive stores in Heights.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I've read that they added around 50 more tiles with Springfield Heights. I'm well past the new limit thanks to the golden days of the tile glitch.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have 53 tiles still in storage.

I seem to remember there was a big XP boost involved as well.

Yup. Once I get some time and can finish buying up all the land, I plan to use the Heights to do something similar and free-up space in Springfield. The upper-end stores, the Burns' prison, and the outdoor opera theatre are guaranteed to be heading over, and I'm giving consideration to moving some/all of the mansions over there as well, though I'll keep Burns' place in Springfield since that seems more traditional.

I've read that the ability to put a road under the ice cream truck has been patched out. If you've got it on a road, don't move it.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Level update! (Like two days ago. )

Nothing too major so far, but a bit of a distraction from the real-estate tasks. After regretting I didn't have Jasper for Tap Ball, I'm still regretting not having him here. I am sitting on 248 donuts so I could pick him up, and that's not a terrible price for a building with a character. Just need to sit down and see if there's anything else I want more. I also could really use Disco Stu for the yoga mats.

For the first time in a long time, my Confirm Spend was turned off by the game (before the new level so it must've been some random update). And this after I was just bragging about it! I noticed it because a couple times I hit donuts by accident but I was able to cancel before the action was completed. I finally decided this wasn't normal and checked my settings.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I wish I had Jasper too. Fortunately I have Disco Stu, so Jasper is the only one missing for me.

I only need 100 "gold Oscars" (?) and I will be able to buy all the rich people land.

I'm still below $200K though, I see people with $800K or more. I went to check their Springfield and I saw what I expected.

I've been saving for Disco Stu for a while, but I'm still like 50 donuts away. It's just a happy coincidence that he will earn me more yoga mats.

did everyone get the free 15 donuts recently after the Level 55 upgrade? They said it was for technical difficulties. The coffee is the rate limiting step on these currency as it is used to create both the pills and the pdas.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

There's a new update in the app store for the monorail event. I was wondering why the new level seemed short.

I just reached 500 million and I've been pretty aggressive about upgrading buildings. So now I have one level left:
Spoiler:
One billion

Yeah, the mats are more valuable to me than Jasper's item, not that I have either.

I got them, though I wasn't sure what difficulties they were talking about. I've had some connection problems here and there, but that always happens. I'll take them anyway.

That's my response as well. These programmers are getting lazy.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I dunno. If they're lazy, then maybe these events shouldn't be so darn complicated.

I'm still figuring out the subtleties of this event, and for now I have the dump and monorail in Heights to keep all the short tasks together, even though it doesn't make sense. I also moved all the relevant characters to those tasks because that's timed, but it's made the real-estate progress really slow. At least I have only one big item to go.

Finding the damn possums reminds me of whacking snakes.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

hmm... have not seen the dump or monorail yet and it did update...

Just checked the Play Store, so I guess the update didn't take or something, as I am installing the update now.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I am getting way to lazy with this game for these kind of events. My gameplay lately has been 24 hour task and and drop a building when i have the cash.
