Teabagging was better in BFBC2. At least the enemy would get the killcam of you looking at them while droppin nuts.

Not to mention you run around with an axe. No kitchen knife? Have these guys ever seen Halloween?

My guess is they wanted to use Jason originally but couldn't obtain the rights.

"Michael Myers" is actually a popular, custom game mode that started with Modern Warfare.

I get why Infinity Ward chose Michael Myers, but they dropped the ball. No fucking surprise.

Does this game feature the awesome "quick scope" cheat? Because there was a guy online last night that completely dominated using a rifle and scope --- didn't matter if he was up close or at sniping distance.

I did have my best game yet on Ghosts. Playing KC I went 20-1-19 by securing a room and getting a couple of dogs and a couple of sentries. Nobody could get to me yet they kept trying.

Prestige Edition is up as a gold box deal right now on PS3, PS4, 360 & XO for $99.99. The Hardened Edition goes up in another 2 hrs.

Yep. And at only 21% claimed with 12 mins to go, it doesn't seem like there was much interest.

It doesn't help Microsoft is currently selling the Hardened Edition for $54.99 for the 360 version of the game either.

Or the game sucks. That could possibly be it too.

Either way, I wish I would've paid $64.99 for the Hardened Edition rather than the $94.99 I did spend for it on street date.

Also, hardcore players get those special editions on release date. Because there are savings even then.

I don't think the game sucks... it just hasn't evolved enough. The single player is excellent, IMO. The MP is much improved from BLOPS2 with respect to lag.

I still think that if the Battlefield series could introduce killstreak rewards it would be the best MP game ever.

I finally finished the single player campaign last night.
Not bad... and it definitely had some tense missions/moments, but overall... nothing special.

^^ Same. I'd like to know what you all are using for your loadouts.

I mostly run with the K7 with red dot and then Agility, quick reload, marathon, hardline and extra grenade (or IED in this case).

For Search and Destroy/Search and Rescue:

Weapon: Honey Badger with Foregrip and Armor Piercing
Perks: Stalker, Takedown, Dead Silence, Off the Grid, Blast Shield Pro
Support: Ammo Crate, Ballistic Vests, Support Squadmate

For everything else:

Weapon: LMG with Foregrip and (whatever operation attachment I'm working on)
Perks: Ready Up, Marathon, Stalker, Quickdraw, Focus
Assault: IMS, Sentry Gun, Enemy Hind (can change based upon operations)

When playing multiplayer, how often does the Free Fall map come up for those of you that have it?
I've never (meaning: not a single damn time) seen it come up. The only way I can play on that map is if I go into Squads mode, start a local-only game, and choose that map.

Squads mode is actually kind of nice... for someone like me who sucks at "true" multiplayer.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Title Update Adds Gun Game Mode

Call of Duty: Ghosts has received another title update on Xbox 360 and Xbox One today, adding a selection of fixes and new features to the game, including the addition of the Gun Game mode from Call of Duty: Black Ops, replacing the Heavy Duty mode.

Gun Game is a wager match mode in which you're given progressively more powerful guns as you rack up kills. Hunted FFA is also added to the Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer playlist, as well as a host of other tweaks and balancing stuff.

In other CoD: Ghosts news, the Onslaught Pack is out today on Xbox. Check out the full list of features, fixes and other stuff available for Call of Duty: Ghosts now:

Hotfixes
  • Killstreak count maintained across rounds in Search and Destroy, Search and Rescue and Blitz.
  • Shorten countdown timer for Clan v Clan playlist.
  • Extinction alien balance adjustments.

New Features
  • PLAYLIST UPDATE: Gun Game replacing Heavy Duty.
  • PLAYLIST UPDATE: Adding Hunted FFA.
  • PLAYLIST UPDATE: Add eSports Rules to Clan v Clan (except friendly fire), and 1-4 persons can join.
  • Added Heavy Duty health options to Private Match.
  • IED damage adjustment based on player stance and IED location (for damage reduction: jump over IEDs below you, go prone for overhead IEDs).
  • Added Operation progress bar to the After Action Report that pops up after MP matches.
  • New MP lobby menu music.
  • Social feed addition.
  • New stick layout options for Southpaw.
  • Disable party chat in Search and Rescue, Search and Destroy and Infected.

Stability
  • Fixed Sniper animation issue that could break the viewmodel.
  • Load time improvements for Flooded, Strikezone, Warhawk.
  • Fixed a couple bots related performance issues.
  • Fixed loss of functionality issue that would occur when two crates were stacked if player attempted to capture bottom crate.
  • In Private match, disable "Start Match" if party members are missing selected map.
  • Fixed rare case of incorrect bot display amount in Private match.
  • Various spawn improvements.

Anti-Cheat
  • Prevent players from using more loadouts than normal.
  • Block users from sharing camos and reticles that aren't previously unlocked.
  • Anti-cheat prevention improvements.

Weapon / Perk Balance
  • Dead Silence/Amplify Adjustment - Dead Silence completely silent including equipment, sliding, and footsteps. Amplify users can still hear a scaled down version of the footsteps and sliding sounds.
  • Slight AK12 Increase on view kick.
  • Adjusted reload times on L115 and USR.
  • Reduce burst fire cool down of MSBS.

eSports
  • Removed stalls caused by the host changing loadout in eSports games.
  • Silent plant, silent defuse in Search and Destroy.
  • Added killstreak count to eSports scoreboard.
  • Improvements to MLG Broadcast mode for highlighted players.
  • Added Domination flag capture bar to Broadcast mode.
  • Added R3 to toggle enemy player outlines in Broadcast mode.
  • Prevent eSports players (except COD Caster) from switching to 3rd Person Spectate cam.
  • Added ability to select players when mini-map is enlarged in eSports.
  • Fixed FOV issue that occurred in Broadcast mode.
  • Fixed functionality issue that occurred if both thumbsticks were pressed while spectating a mantling player.
  • Fixed issue which kept eSports rules enabled after losing internet connection.
  • Add notification when spectated player gets a kill in Broadcast mode.
  • Fixed text overlap bug that occurred when mini-map was enlarged.
  • Better team identification in the MLG hud.
  • Fixed killfeed color bug that occurred for spectators.
  • Prevent crashes when COD Caster changed teams quickly.
  • Restrict Ghillie Suits when eSports rules enabled (replaces with different game models).

  • Fixed issue where some achievements could not be earned when moving from current generation to next generation platforms.

  • Fixed Trinity rocket issue where black/white overlay would remain on screen.
  • Fixed Trinity rocket issue where laptop could not be put away.
  • Improvements to the "Leper" challenge so that it appears closer to players.
  • Added "COD Account" selection to the Extinction menu to improve account linking for Extinction players.
  • Fixed bug where the "Death Machine" could obtain specialty ammunition.
  • Fixed issue where players defaulted to pistol after revival.
  • Fixed issue with accepting invites from custom Extinction matches where players would lose menu focus.
