I'm having a good time taking out the clusters of guards around the city that I believe lead to this fight. So I'm going to keep playing around with that, but I will not do that fight. I have zero interest in doing that again.

Thought I was going to have to give up last night. There's a cinematic with Gordon & Bats in an elevator and my game shut down at the exact same spot in it four times in a row. With where my save was, there was nowhere else I could go other than into the elevator to trigger the cutscene, so I figured I was screwed. I had some experience points, so I unlocked a couple combat options, just to see if the small change would fix the glitch. It worked, so I continue to grind through the biggest disappointment of this generation.

Im at about 91%./like the game but not loving it. City and asylum were better. Going to try for the riddler stuff and to go for the platinum, but well see.

I have a really dumb question. When someone is about to attack you, they have squiggly lines over their head. But when those lines are red, they're usually running right at you. So my question is... how do you evade the guys with red squiggly lines? I can't punch them when they're running but only when they've already got me on the ground. Countering doesn't seem to work at all, and doing a cape swipe (which works on all the big guys) doesn't work either. They only thing that does seem to work is if I'm quick enough to throw a baterang, batclaw, or electrical charge. That works from a distance, but rarely from close quarters.
So, what am I doing wrong?

You can either Evade (on the PS4, move the left stick and press X twice) or mash L2 to Quick Batarang.

Platinum would be nice, but there's zero chance in hell of me doing all the AR challenges.

You're supposed to press L2 (or whatever the second shoulder button is on the controller you're using), and Batman will spray some shit in their face that keeps them from charging - it seems to work about 75% of the time.

I finally finished. I enjoyed the game (my favorite since the original), mostly because I liked the story (predictable as it was). The finale

I thought was absolutely brilliantly executed and more than a bit spooky in its imagery.

Still, so many frustrations and how many endings exactly? Sigh...

No interest in going to 100%, but I'll be dicking around with it for a big longer.

Am I the only one struggling with the 10 guys while I go after scarecrow towards the end. You have the electric guys, the blade, the guns, guards with shields etc. I have died about 10 times. I usually don't struggle like this

I had trouble a few times. Get the big guys near the fence where you can zap them. Once they are gone it's a cake walk.

10 times? Try playing a Ninja Gaiden 1 or 2 for hard.

I agree with everything you wrote, though I'd emphasize the "frustrations" part more.

I finished with almost 90% - ain't no way I'm going for 100%, especially after seeing the wet fart of an ending you get for it on youtube.

I have everything complete except all the Riddler stuff. The evading tips above really helped with the road check points and fireman missions.
Overall, I'm very happy with this game.
