I played the demo on my wife's iPhone. We both love it!

Bring it to Android, and I'll buy it. My wife might end up buying it on her iPhone, but not at $5. Sorry dude.

edit: just saw on the site that they're working on an Android version.
Also, the free $0.99 game is a nice incentive to purchase the $5 game... but I'll probably still hold out for the Android version. No sense buying it twice.

I would SO rather pay 99 cents for Angry Birds than get hit with an ad that blocked the top 15% of the screen every level. I can't even play it on the Evo, it's so distracting.

the ad bothers me on angry birds because it slows my phone down to a crawl (droid). not that it takes up too much space.

I have played Angry Birds on Android and didn't find it hard to play or a resource hog. And the ads were not all that distracting either.
