Re: Borderlands
Sorry if this isn't the place to post this but it does relate to Borderlands.
I'm having trouble hosting a game with one of the two people I play with. Friend A can join my game and I can join his. Friend B however cannot join mine. The timer counts down and will not connect but I can join his. Does this sound like a problem on my end or his? If I simply need a new router then so be it. We have tried both wired and wireless connections.
thanks for any help.

Re: Borderlands
I love this game BTW...it's not perfect, but it scratches this particular set of itches for me in a near flawless combination. I love the setting, the control, the co-op and the loot...good god, especially the loot. Every gun cache is like opening a christmas present!

Re: Borderlands
I'm level 35 and have more than 1 million in cash. I always look for better weapons in the store but I guess I'm just cheap...
Basically, I just care about Sniper weapons, and I have a really power, or that I like, right now, so nothing really calls my attention. I still need to finish the game. There are 7 missions from the main story pending.

No you're not cheap by any means. Like others here I've got the $1 Million Bucks with two players as well but there are just so many you not only can carry but really need....like the Hellfire SMG or some mega Volcanno Sniper. The insane weapons come about in the second playthru but you need them. The good ones start out around Level 37. A good way to get started is have someone at say Level 45 (2nd playthru) and invite you in say New Haven so you can go shopping. A great place since it has two vendening machines and five weapon boxes.

Re: Borderlands
Borderlands Updated to 1500
The upcoming third DLC for Borderlands "The Secret Armory of General Knoxx" will include 10 new achievements for an additional 250 gamerscore. This lends credence to their claim of it being the biggest piece of DLC yet, that's for sure. The level cap looks to be raised from 50 to 61 with plenty of new missions, a new car and at least one boss-type character. Color me excited!
There is still no price or release date announced for this content, but as we all know, new achievements being posted is usually a sign that things may be sooner rather than later. We'll keep you updated once we hear more.

I would be fine with it not coming out for a couple of months. I need to get some other games finished. I know if the DLC comes out soon -- I would be obsessed with Borderlands again and not finish the other games. I also wonder how much hard drive space it will take up. I still use my launch 20 GB drive.

Re: Borderlands
So, between Zombie Island, Moxxi's Underdome, and other various forays into Pandora since hitting Level 50, I've continued to accrue experience. Will that EXP count towards the new levels out of the box or does anyone think it'll somehow only count "new" EXP?
Actually, I guess I need to confirm my total is actually going up and not just stuck at the Level 50 ceiling...

Re: Borderlands
I had to finish the game because Bioshock 2 was coming. I'm close to level 40. I also finished the Zombie island DLC. And started the second playthrough just to see how hard it was.
But yeah, last night I started Bioshock 2, so I'm going to be out for one week at least. Or will I?

Re: Borderlands
miyu and pinata, up for playing tonight? I know pinata is done, but I want to get caught up (Lvl. 50) for that Knoxx DLC.
I'm a mid 45 with my Siren (playthrough 2) and haven't gone through Zombie island yet. Where do you stand miyu?
