I was just about to return a second sealed copy I bought (with bluetooth) while it was on sale. I'm in for about $43 after tax...would cost at least $3 to ship...would send it your way for $50 shipped.

Gold trader and all that.

Also sent you a friend request...

I'm starting to think my PSN problems have to be related to my wireless network. It just can't be this bad. I turn on the PS3 and start playing Uncharted. Almost immediately I get a message about an error with PSN and I'm being logged out. Playing GT5 I can't even upload or check rankings consistently. Is it my network or is it always this bad?
For the past two days I have been having this problem as well Gromit. Warhawk is the fist online game I have played for the PS3 and it drops me from every game. I am using the network wirelessly and I get logged out everytime. It also takes a long time for me to get logged onto the network. The playstation store seems to work just like it normally does but Warhawk is a no go. The first day I got it the game worked fine, but since then the game has not worked. I hope it works out better tonight.

I highly recommend it at that price point. My wife has put in 15-20 hours on it and bought all the DLC for it because she enjoyed the game so much.

Check to see how hot your PS3 is... I get this from time to time and the only thing I have noticed is that my PS3 is running hot at the time.

I just played a password protected game of Warhawk with a buddy who's more or less on my level skillwise...and it was the most fun I've had playing a game since Mario Galaxy. Freaking awesome!

Looks like the manager at my Gamestop is gonna grab a used copy at another store for me. Thanks for the offer, though! We'll need to get a game going once I get my copy.

Got to try a bit of the demo before dinner tonight and while I don't care for the graphic novel style of storytelling I thought the combat was pretty damn cool.

Wow I just had my ass handed to me in Lemmings. I did the 5 trial boards and the 10 Fun boards and the very first Tricky is giving me problems. I used to burn through some Lemmings back in the day. Wasn't happening tonight, that's for sure.

No worries...a couple of local folks seem to want to take it off my hands.

Absolutely. A large map with a small number of noobs is a blast.

Picked up the Collector's Edition of Stranglehold today for $30. Figured they game was worth about $15 and I had no problem paying an extra $15 for Hardboiled in HD. Starting to see the Collector's Editions less and less so I grabbed one while I could.

Can anyone tell me the info for DVD Talk's folding@home group. I swear we had one, I swear I joined it with my previous PS3 but I can't find the info by searching.

Ok, I may be joining the PS3 club. I might be getting a 60GB for $350 used.

I'd like some help/tips/advice. Is there anything I should be looking out for?

Is the 5 bluray deal still going on?

Get HDMI cables or if your tv not compatible get some components. Get Casino Royale blu ray and wait for Metal Gear Solid 4 and your set to go.

I'm new to the VG forums of DVD Talk, but I just thought I'd let everyone know that I now have a PS3 (40GB).

I heard it ended 01/31. I'm going to be setting up the PS3 tomorrow (Monday), so I'll see what it says when I open the box. I'm sad that I missed the 5 free Blu-ray deal, but I own a total of 1 Blu-ray disc thus far!

I'll post my tag tomorrow.

Is there a way on the PS3 version of Rainbow 6 Vegas to play splitscreen multiplayer
but have the 2nd player log-in like you can on the 360? My wife and I have been
replaying it on the PS3 but we can't figure out how to sign her account in so it saves
her standings/weapon/shield pick-ups. It'll sign one of us in via whoever is signed in
through the dash and save their progress, but attempts to sign in the 2nd person
just logs the 1st out. Is logging a 2nd person in possible, or is it only "guest" for
player 2? Does the rename function act as a way to save a 2nd player's progress
along with the 1st?

$54.99 for a basic controller is little much.

Thanks for the info. Can essentially get one with shipping for the same cost on ebay so I'm gonna go ahead and do that and not wait until April.

But, yeah, it's still expensive for a controller.

Metal Gear Solid 4 release date: June 12, 2008. Sony also plans to release a PS3 bundle which will include: an 80GB PS3, Metal Gear Solid 4, and a Dualshock 3 controller.

I'd like rumble back (at least for backwards compatibility), but I have no use for a second controller at all. Hell, ever since I got the BD remote, I've barely got a use for the one that came with the system. I've had to hook my PS2 back up anyways to play my imports. Bah.
