Really good episode tonight.
It was nice seeing Tripp again, and good to see that even though they're in the framework, the stakes are still real for them. Looking forward to next week.

I don't watch this show but happen to have it on for a few minutes last night. Was it the guy from Departed? When I saw him on screen I checked to see what show was on. Not sure if he's a regular or who you're asking about.

I was trying to figure that one out myself. A quick check of his, David O'hara's, IMDB page doesn't show a lot of things I've seen. I figure for me it was most likely the Tudors and the Harry Potter movie, although I felt like I had seen him more recently than that.
I did have one of those moments while looking at his page though. Playing Fitz's dad and all, I just unconsciously assumed that he was older than me and he is, but only by 2 days. *sigh*

Yeah, that's who I was thinking of in my post. Funny that the couple minutes i watched was his scene. I know him mostly from Departed. He was one of Costello's goons.

He was Alfred's long lost friend who showed up. He was helping to train Bruce. Alfred caught him poking around for something and he stabbed Alfred.

When they captured the Radcliff LMD a few episodes ago, it attempted to bargain for its life by claiming Radcliff knew the senior Fitz from way back and could help the two reconnect. When this had the opposite effect, Mac questioned Simmons about it, and she stated that Fitz's dad was an abusive bastard.

So, if the Framework is a completely artificial world made and manipulated by Aida, why does Terrigen work at all in it?

She said it was shaped by removing everyone's biggest regret. It doesn't seem like she manipulates it on a daily basis. There seem to be a set of rules in play.

The framework is pretty much ripped right out of The Matrix. If you recall, the original Matrix was a Utopia, but people kept waking up because it wasn't realistic. The same with the framework - remember that May was the first to be put inside a program to placate her, but she was resisting because it wasn't real enough for her mind. I'm guessing the same goes for the Terrigen inside the framework. Terrigen exists in the real world, so it exists in the framework.

These are probably my favorite eps and storyline of the series.
Patriot holding up that building was some great superhero stuff.
Love when a show takes a whole chunk of a series and turns it on its ear like this.
