Finally got to see this. Nice finale and good twist. This show makes too much, too mysterious, all the while changing history with no ill effects except for Lucy's sister. Now Jia is all whacked out. I know they needed a cliffhanger but it seemed like every episode was a cliffhanger.

I am disappointed. Although not one of my favorite shows, I did enjoy it, especially the little known historical tidbits. I think they made the whole Rittenhouse connection way too mysterious. You never really knew who you were rooting for or why.

That's too bad. Really enjoyed the show. It looks like none of the time travel shows survived to see a second season.

I thought this one of the better new shows to air in 2017. Sorry to see it go. Rufus alone was gold every week no matter what eels was going on. I guess gone are the days where something like this would be on Sy-Fy or one of the other secondary cable channels. It's sure a hell of a lot better than most of the other original series garbage they air.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, CW notwithstanding, time travel and similar genres just won't work (build enough audience) on broadcast TV. I'm not surprised at all that they all failed.

This one was mildly entertaining (it was the only one I tried) but there was almost zero butterfly effect which was absurd.

Aside from CW it feels that every network has to have the same type of shows or they will be cancelled. (that's boring) however shows like Grimm *enjoyed* lasted longer then one would think and even four seasons of Sleepy Hollow.

How much were you expecting? Seem to recall that many episodes ended with them noticing that something had changed related to the trip they had just returned from.

Related to the trip, yes, as in they changed the historical record, but it seemed to have little to no impact on the present. Outside of her sister not being born and mother not sick.

Time travel stories are so hard to pull off right. I love it in Legends of Tomorrow because that show is so tongue in cheek and almost more of a comedy, so it works there. In Flash, I find it far more annoying. No broadcast network can really do it right.

Short of actually killing or injuring major players in history, changing the immediate future is all I would expect from what little they did most episodes. Even the episode with Washington and Arnold ended with very little having changed in a way that would result in major changes to future they returned to.

If NBC cancelled this, then please cancel Blacklist because that's really boring now and it's too late for me to drop it. I'm committed haha

You can read a little more about the cancellation on Shawn Ryan's Twitter feed. He was the co-creator along with Eric Kripke. He sounds really disappointed. He has not had 1 show post-The Shield last more than 1 season. Ryan's really snake bitten with his shows.
