I so want Tandy to tell the group to fuck off ... and then to have something horrific happen to them.

I'm liking the show less as the group sticks around more. I loved the first and second episode, but just having everyone hate Tandy is getting boring again.

The thing is, Tandy is an asshole. But he knows it. The rest of them are just as big assholes, but they pretend they're not. The show has some funny moments, but if they don't move on from this same dynamic, it's getting stale to me.

I have to admit that's my biggest question about this show. Almost everyone on earth dies and there are NO bodies anywhere?

Hasn't it been a number of years since the apocalypse? Makes sense that the bodies would have decayed since then.

This show is great but it gives me a Curb Your Enthusiasm feel. It's like watching an entertaining trainwreck that makes you feel awkward the entire time.

I don't care if we ever find out what happened to the bodies.

We also haven't seen skeletons left around (including animal skeletons), abandoned cars in the middle of streets and highways, or signs of looting.

I wonder if the virus also killed microorganisms: The beached whale carcasses didn't seem to be decaying visibly. Carol and Phil also didn't react to a stench when they saw the whales. The characters regularly leave food out without worrying about spoilage or insects. Expired food was a bit of a surprise but proteins can break down over time on their own.

Presumably, carnivores have died off. Rats and mice have two-year lifespans and should be extinct. However, if a breeding pair survived and managed to find each other, rodents should gradually be taking over large portions of land. Ditto for cockroaches or locusts or pigeons.

Their little stretch of Malibu beach should be covered with dead fish and jellyfish.

If Tandy's brother survived the virus by avoiding it, rather than by being immune, he'll be bringing bacteria and other parasites back with him.

I guess we won't know what happened until we see the prequel Fear the Last Man on Earth.

This!

It's just retreading ground again. Hopefully there's a shake up of this dynamic with Todd's "secret".

Yep. I grew tired of the show last season, but enjoyed the hell out of the first two episodes this season.

Agree. This last episode was my least favorite of the series.

So WTF is Todd up to? Is he an arsonist? A serial killer or something?

At first I liked most of "The Others," but now there is not one I like. Tandy should just leave, why does he want to hang out with a group of A-Holes?

Wait until Sudekis shows up and they have to contend with him and Tandy. I love this show... it doesn't take itself too seriously and really doesn't care to follow any traditional comedy path.

I'm starting to think the brother isn't going to leave his shuttle until the last scene of the season finale.

I love how it was just bacon..
Finding a bunch of random MREs, newer cans of soup or whatever is no where near as hedonistic as just a 100+ pounds of bacon..

I also like when Phil needed to get rid of stuff the only three options where fire pit, shovel.. jetski...

Do we have a hard time line as to how long it's been since the world died off? They mentioned canned goods that were "only a couple years past date" but those might be back of the pantry sort of finds, already 3+ years old.

They're in 2023 and the virus took place around 2019-2020. So about 3 years as the show has indicated.

You guys think too much about the virus. The show really isn't about that.

I think we can get accustomed to nothing "dark" happening. The darkest thing to happen was Black Phil acting like a dick last season. People wondering if Todd is a serial killer.

I also loved Gail trying to convince Melissa that she was sober enough to stitch up her finger.

"Okay, I had one scotch about 2 hours ago, but I've barely been drinking at all since then."
