Bumping this a bit early, but is back next week for a new season. It's not super popular around here, but I know a handful of you watch.
There is only one trailer I've seen s far, but it's a recap from season 3.
As a reminder Ken Leung is not with the cast any more.

For what it's worth, the first 3 seasons are on Netflix.

I'm an episode behind , but just finished up episode 3 on season 4.
Super gutted about the end of the episode. There were constant mentions during the first two hours only for the news to come through. After everything, pretty shitty and definitive end.
Ready for TC to come home.

Re: The Night Shift (NBC) -- Series Thread
I wrapped up season 4. Not sure what happened, but some of my DVR recordings didn't go through. I had to work through some episodes via on demand.
The season definitely was helped by having TC back at SAM. The introduction of Paul's dad and sister were good, but I felt both were underutilized. In general, I think the plot points were all over the place, but each of the characters did have some ups and downs to work through. Aside from the first few episodes, the family element of the group seemed missing for me.
Plus there were some random plot points that weren't resolve:
I'll have to look at the ratings, but I don't think this season was great in the numbers. Not too sure if the prospects for another season is good or not. However, it's a summer show so not sure how important ratings are versus regular fall/spring seasons.
If this is the end I'm okay with where we left things. The writers did a good job of tying up plot points and opening new doors for the characters without ending things on a cliffhanger.
