its amazing this is his twelfth time hosting. I can't recall a single memorable character or sketches ever done on the show.

I assumed it was his first time hosting... I don't remember him ever hosting before - although I'm not religious with this show either.

Goodman seems to be keeping very busy the last few years. He's been doing a lot of TV and movies. He seems to pop up in most things I'm watching.

I know that Goodman has hosted A LOT, but the only sketch I remember off-hand was one about a girl with no "gaydar" and he was playing a flamboyantly gay man who carried around a little teacup dog.

I remember the one where he was a dumb NFL referee in the early 90's lol.

At least he is not Miley Cyrus and I like his movie work though never was a big Roseanne fan.

Is it ok to like Kings of Leon? I don't like Use Somebody or Sex on Fire but their other songs are good.

Other than his Coen brothers stuff I can't remember anything else I ever liked him in.

In fact, I'll take it a step further: his Coen stuff is great, everything else is garbage.

I also remember one in which he was that sperm doctor that used his own seed for dozens of women. Then the judge sentenced him to star in a sitcom with all of the kids.

The one John Goodman sketch I remember was Goodman as Linda Tripp and Molly Shannon as Monica Lewinsky.

Goodman, as Tripp, was secretly recording Lewinsky.

Sucked overall. Snowflakes was funny. Wise Guys was okay if they didn't take 10 seconds between lines. Goodman did the best he could with the material, he was why I tuned in tonight.

Though it's another rehashed bit the last skit in the bar was my favorite of the night. Kate McKinnon is sorely underused. She commits 110%.

Was Keenan trying to set a record for most appearances in one show? He's definitely the goto guy for reaction shots.

I like John Goodman but I was distracted by the heavy breathing and spittle on the chin. The way he sounded made me think he might keel over at any moment.

John Goodman has been in a ton of great SNL sketches the Happy Smile Patrol Gang, the pharmacist filling Cheri o'Terris Collette's scripts, his Linda Tripp performances, hosting Da Bears shows and on and on.

Happy Smile Patrol was funny. The snowflakes sketch reminded me of it.

That classroom skit was just as terrible as it was the first time they did it. I can't believe that tried that one again.

The only skit of the night that was really funny was the H&M video.
