It's not much of a commitment at eight 1/2 hour episodes. It should provide some closure with the pending wrap-up special as well.

This show was pretty funny, but not as good as I'd hoped it would be considering the involvement of Merchant, who I think is absolutely hilarious. The season definitely had it's up and downs, but I thought the good outweighed the bad, for sure.

On the one hand I was bummed HBO decided to cancel the series, but grateful they were willing to pursue a series special to properly close it out. Looking forward to Sat night.

Thought this was great. Loved Stuart's dirty pillow talk.

Kudos to HBO for making this special happen. Was great to revisit these characters and give them the proper send-off.

FYI, have to comment on the book selection in Glen's office since I have the same Taschen Godfather and Dennis Hopper books in mine.

I still don't understand how this didn't get a longer run, but maybe the premise would have gotten stale. In that case, maybe it was the perfect length. Loved the show, and loved the movie.

I liked this wrap up quite a bit. It seems they were going to get together at the eventual end of the show anyway. The scene in bed was the best.

This was terrific. Obviously I would have preferred a full season, but I'm glad we got this.

The bedroom scene was stellar.

I wonder if this will be Merchants one and only chance to star in his own series. He doesn't seem to be able to do anything besides this one character. I hope he comes out with another series. After seeing the utter dreck that is Derek, I feel like he was the real talent of the Gervais/Merchant collaborations.

I really enjoyed the finale. It would've been nice to get another season, but the premise of the show makes it hard to have a long run without it being repetitive.

I thought the best scene of the episode, and maybe the series, was the confrontation when Stuart was fixing her computer. He called her out on the problem not being that she didn't want to date... but that she didn't want to date him. Found it sorta heart-breaking. I knew how the show would end, and I'm fine with it - but I don't think it's realistic. In reality she wouldn't change her mind.

I really liked how Stuart basically told the guys on the boat to fuck off.

Hope he gets another show at some point.
