I literally got the email an hour ago, 8:23am even. I swear, FandangoNow can't do anything right.

EDIT: It's coming up for me, just tried it...probably still wonky as heck.
2nd Edit: They should all be coming up $5 to buy now. There might be 1 or 2 (like Queen of the Damned) but it looks like Fandango got their act together.

Picked up Equals (was able to use my rewards for an additional $1), shows up in my UV locker but took about 20 minutes to pass thru to Vudu.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Well that is officially the weirdest collection of movies I've ever seen assembled for a sale: from Best Picture winners and classic films to total crap like Sharknado 3 and soft core porn.
I ended up getting March of the Penguins (to update my DVD copy), Blue Valentine and The Conversion. I was going to buy Never Let Me Go (a sad, sad movie I love but don't own), but they pulled it after I first checked this morning. It's not even for sale now, just for rent.
I also recommend Breaking Away - wonderful bike racing movie, but I already own the Twilight Time Blu Ray.

Agreed, I don't mind an eclectic range of movies but that one is quite up there. They pulled Queen of the Damned too I noticed this morning, I guess my email tipped them off. If I wasn't getting a few things in VUDU too, I might spring for more of these.

Just noticed Family Video has some digital codes for sale. I've seen it listed on their site for awhile, but never had any movies.

https://www.familyvideo.com/trending...-digital-codes

Codes and redemption instructions will be sent via email within 2 business days after purchase

Ha- If I could sell those for $12 each, I'd be rich right now. Got some I can't even give away.

By "those" I meant Digital Codes in general, not necessarily the list provided by IDrinkMolson.

I am sure someone on this forum "might" receive them if given away for free. But then again if they are overly popular that most have or just titles no one wants, I can see them being unable to give away.

As far as $12 each, that about couldn't believe it when I saw it... ha ! Yet I am sure some folks likely are buying them anyway..

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

There's currently a nice Martial Arts Sale at VUDU. Now, I can't vouch for any of these movies, but they're all $2.99 each HDX, except for the IP Man Trilogy which is $7.99 for the bundle.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Amazon has some Disney movies on sale for $9.99. They're compatible with Disney Movies Anywhere. So they'll transfer to the other streaming services (Vudu, iTunes, Google Play, Microsoft Video, etc).

Flight of the Navigator
Bolt
Cool Runnings
Sky High
G-Force
Underdog
The Rescuers
Into the Woods
Alice In Wonderland (live action)

These are $12.99:

Prom
A Bug's Life
Secretariat
The Muppet Movie

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

FandangoNow is doing a bunch of 50% off sales for "Sexy" Movies (use the code "Darker")

https://www.fandangonow.com/list/fif...A_50Shades_v01

A lot of these are in direct competition w/Vudu sales and are cheaper. Be sure to check the UVs on Fandango to make sure it will slide into Vudu so to speak.

Some examples (all UV)

Handmaiden, The $5.00 w/code
Cat People $5.00 w/code

So if you are feeling the kink, just make sure you don't spend the kitchen sink.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Wow, some good movies here. I don't own Blue Velvet and Closer and I loved both those movies. Also Secretary is pretty good and it's probably time to upgrade my DVD of Cruel Intentions.

Yeah, Secretary I can't watch anymore. I saw it a few times with my ex-wife who loved it and it brings back some bad memories.

Anyway, If I'm reading this correctly...just found this one, Blue Valentine (not to be confused with Blue Velvet) is UV and only $2.50 with the code. And for those of us with spouses who adore the chic flics (that would be my awesome present day-wife for sure), How Stella Got Her Groove Back (UV too) is a mere $5.00 w/code.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Just a heads up if you belong to Sam's Club. Look for the Freeosk machine (free sample when you scan your membership card).
If you see the Starburst/Skittles sample, enter your email address at the end, and they'll send you a $5 code. I got it the next day. Wife got one too.
Scan each card on your account and use a different email for each one.

I noticed this deal is still Live for one more week.

I was about to buy Blue Velvet but then noticed that it isn't a UV title! WTF?

Also, is this DARKER code usable more than once per account?

It's not UV on VUDU unfortunately either, so it's a widespread issue. Guess, it's one of those weird titles. And yes, Darker is usable as many times as you would like.

Re: The kinda all streaming deals thread

Blue Velvet is an MGM release, and MGM titles are typically not UV. There was a period when several were going UV, but that way a few years ago, unfortunately.
