DVD Talk Hall of Fame
Go with The Wire, IMO. It'll change the way you look at things, it's an extraordinary series, and IMO one of the major artistic achievements of the last decade.

I've been trying to get into it. Saw the first ep twice and just hasn't clicked or was something I would look forward to watching. Perhaps some day...
