Oh sweet jeebus, I SO cannot afford this right now.
Heh... Addams Family for $9.36, or the Addams Family / Addams Family Values 2-pack for $9.44. Please show me the person that won't spend 8 cents more....
And remember folks, as with all "buy (x) get (x) free" sales, your lowest priced items are free, so separate your orders for maximum savings.

Awesome! The new Collector Edition's of Dead Zone and Pet Sematary for $9.44(everyone was so excited to get Pet Sematary for $6.99 at Best Buy last week). Also, Jackass Unrated and Apocalypse Now-Complete Dossier for $13.67. A big thanks to tbickle and of course, DDD.

The lower priced items will count as the freebies. So, if you're ordering two $14 DVDs and two $9 DVDs, the two $9 dvds would be the freebies(obviously it would be better to make to separate orders so that one of the $14 DVDs would count as the freebie).

You can get the new Pretty In Pink and Some Kind of Wonderful releases for $9.44 also.
If you want to finish off the Stephen King set, you can pick up the other two flicks for a total of $6.03.

Man, all of these sales just lead right in to each other.
Hopefully, Dvd Planet will have this sale since I just hit 1,000 frequent buyer points, otherwise, I'm just about broke.

I'm really annoyed that I picked up a bunch of these titles in the last few weeks -- Apocalypse Now, Tin Star, Rio Lobo, Last Train from Gun Hill, Let's Scare Jessica to Death, The High and the Mighty. Grrrr.
But there are still a few John Wayne films I don't have, and they come to just three bucks a pop.

Wow! I didn't think I'd see so many DVDs for sale for $3 each. There must be at least 2 or 3 dozen DVDs I bought for $4.88 at Walmart in the last year all of which are now $3 (I lost $1.80 each and haven't opened a lot of them). I used to think $4.88 was a pretty safe price... I may have to adjust that down to $3.99 and start passing on those Walmart $4.88 displays.
Still, there's a lot I'd like to order. What's annoying about this sale is that you have to place multiple orders to group different priced DVDs. Otherwise, if you buy 2 $9.44 DVDs and 2 $6.03 DVDs, you only get the $6.03 DVDs for free.
I wonder if this sale is because of Blu-Ray and HD-DVD and is the first signs of DVD going out as old technology - meaning we should see a lot more sales like this with different studios, or did they just have way too many Paramount titles and DDD is selling them far cheaper than usual (typically $4.80)?

Why isn't this giving me my 5% Great Fun discount when I items to cart? I go thru the Great Fun online site and it will sometimes appears then goes away. I was able to use it last month for the Buena Vista $10.80/$6.94 sale. Perhaps it's not stackable since this is a B1G1 promotion.
EDIT: I also try clearing my cart and adding something not associated with this sale and still no discount.

I placed a few orders. There are a bunch more that I might blind buy after I do some research. I assume that even if these go out of stock that we'll be able to order these titles at these prices up through the 16th?
And here's a complaint about DDD's shopping cart... if you add something to your cart and it becomes a free selection (seems to be random), you can't delete it. I had 1 title I didn't want in my cart, and I had to delete every other item in order for it to no longer say "free" and be able to delete it. What a pain!
