Some very good reading. You'd think that the people at Fox, Ridley Scott, or the writers would read forums like that to better understand why the original films worked.

That's what I'm confused about.

The theatrical cut isn't what was first filmed. The original had no narration, and the elevator ending. This is what was shown to test audiences before the studio...
