Disney was the company that put it out on DVD in North America. I believe they do own it.

The bar for a streaming show to get more than 2-3 seasons is very high. Unless it wins awards or generates major online buzz, most shows won't make it in this new environment.

It's a pilot at this point. If Amazon doesn't like the reception or numbers are off, no more episodes.

The costume doesn't look that great in the still but this is a spoof of superheroes. It's not a dealbreaker since the Tick is a comedy.

I imagine it will have the same mix of characters as seen on the first live-action TV series. I remember there were some complications and that the rights to certain characters were tied up a little...

He's got a pretty steady career now, I doubt he's coming back. It wouldn't shock me if no one from the original comes back except Warburton.

I can't believe this, all my fanboy dreams are coming true. The animated series still brilliantly holds up and the live-action series had huge potential.
